Ray Ray,

Could you please pass on my condolences to Lynda's husband. Lynda will be dreadfully missed here. (I want to write more but I just don't know how to express how sad I am.)

Love Rose

Rayray, I read your comment on easy today, the one before the awful news. I nearly didn't respond as the loss of a friend makes everything else seem trivial, and I was sad for all of us, but then I remembered that, for us remaining, our lives are not trivial, they just get put on hold for a while.

It sounds like you have hit a wall and it is getting you down. I don't know what the wall is, but I wanted to say that I know you will be able to climb over it. You are dedicated, intelligent and persistent. If it can be done, you will do it. Perhaps you can channel your anger into the energy you are going to need to get there. I support you, and I'm sure many in Sudoku do also.

RAYRAY, I do hope I did not offend, when I reposted your sad message about Lynda, on the top of the new page. I thought about changeover, literally one minute before it happened, and I did not have time to compose an announcement of my own and make first post! yours was soo well written, fitting and AVAILABLE, a quick copy and paste and it made the new page, just in time!

I know you and Lynda had a close connection, and that you sadly feel the loss. I will add you to my thoughts and prayers as I mourn the loss of our friend.

Rayray, it seems you were going through a very difficult time and then came the tragic news of Lynda's death. A very heavy load to carry. I know you will persevere and find a way out and away from your trouble. We are here to help you any way we can.
We all know there is a new angel in heaven
Take care, my friend.

Rayray, thank you for sharing your thoughts and message with us, it has help me to understand why I felt so sad when I heard the news. Lynda always took time for all of us. That is what makes her so special to me. Like I said, that little blue wren will be with me, in my heart for ever. Let her guide you in your beautiful writing.

It is difficult for me, not having English as my mother language, to express my feelings, to you as a good friend and to Peter and his family regarding Lynda`s death. From deep in my heart you and Lynda`s relatives have my thoughts and prayers.

Rayray, you're a good mate. Lynda was one of the first to welcome me to sudokaland and invite my family into her home when we went over to the west. I am now very sorry I didn't find a spare hour to meet her. Cheers mate.

Hope you're ok.

Dear Rayray,
Thank you for your support while I have been ill. I never expected such a response from this site, everyone’s concern and caring has overwhelmed me. I can only say that it is the genuine people here who make this a very unique place to share our hopes, dreams, ups and downs. So thank you for being there.

Dear Ray,
I wanted to thank you for the gargantuan task you gave yourself to send the our condolences to Peter. I was truly impressed and very touched by what I read and saw the tremendous amount of work you put in. You try to present yourself as an dry intelluctual but I saw a brief image of you as a truly compassionate man with a beautiful soul. I suspected it before but I know that the poetical soul is not only in your literary work but also is just you.

Excerpt from the email received yesterday from Peter (Lynda's Husband)

Today in the mail was the most wonderful surprise, Rays collation of tributes to Lynda from people out there in Sudokuland. Ray has done a superb job, so professional and yet so thoughtful. I did shed a few tears I admit but it truly is a most beautiful work and something to treasure for ever. I am so grateful to all those who sent in their sympathy and kind words and my thanks go out to them all... Peter

RayRay, I just checked out the tribute you put together for Lynda, and what a wonderful job you did. Thanks for all the hard work, and espically for your editing of one of my posts. You presented it so very nicely, I am most happy with how it turned out.

I can see how much work you put into this, lovely job and I am sure something Peter can keep forever.

Hi Rayray... not really stalking you... will lay off the emails unless you want me to keep annoying you..
Just wondering how you are ... good to see your sense of humour letting fly on easy.
Wasn't sure if you would have appreciated being tagged so I gave you a reprieve but you you need to know I was thinking of you...

Oooh, Ray, do get yourself to a physician. That does not sound very good. Acute pain is nothing to ignore. If it is a stone, the passing of the stone can be excruciating.

Dear Ray,
Finally read your last post to me! You are so right about these "health dietary recommendations" I usually have to read about the recommendations in several different reports before I will believe them. Like the LA Times, Discover magazine, Scientific American, Science News, Health magazine, you get the picture. Different media sources as well. TV, radio, word of mouth from friends!
