It's two day birthday time,
I thought I'd make a rhyme,
It's Debby's time to be,
A Sudoku site celebrity.

Enjoy your special day,
Have fun, go out and play,
Family, friends and others may,
Stop in and share your day.

I wish you lots of fun,
Another year begun,
I'll be like everyone,
And simply say Happy Birthday Debby! Enjoy!

sorry, I'm late for the Birthday Party -- I hope you had a great day -- My son Scott came home for the weekend and with the wonderful weather - we had a great time -- went to the zoo on Saturday and even my youngest son joined us a rare treat for a 16 yr old -- who is bored... Took Scott home on Sunday and had a cookout. Scott came home to visit with my Mom, who had a bad spell and has moved into a rehab center, we don't think she will be able to return to her assisted living home due to her many falls and refusal to ask for help when she wants to get up. She looking stronger. Well, once again -- wishing you a great week. With Love, Mary

Hi Debby.
Nice to see the well done bouquet that Rick brought for your Bidy.
We do not have seasons like you do. So we miss the expectation of the season to come. We only have three rainy months followed by three dry months, during wich we have to supply the crops with water. For that reason the foundation are simpler than in the areas where the structure has to carry the heavy weight of the snow.
The big flower is a Heliconia wich grows wild in the Pacific zone with very heavy rain and very warm climate. It takes like six months to develop and as you can see the tips of the bracts are already turning brown due to aging.
This particular flower is more a "collectors item". The plant is around 10 -12 feet high.
The other flowers in the arrangement are in the same order of Zingiberaceaes and they are cultivated for the market.
Have a nice day.

Hi Debby! I did notice those lovely flowers...same for me and my hubby...surprises me when I least expect it (I don't expect it because it doesn't happen often, but that's what makes the surprise even better!)
Loved to hear that you got you mud flaps. Understand about the running boards, though. That salt can be so destructive! They don't use salt anymore here in CA - some sort of volcanic sand that coats everything and has caused me to have to replace 2 windshields since we've been up here! ...you know, rocks kicking up off the road.
I will check out your flickr page soon. I want to get one, too, at some point. Yeah, when I have extra time - HA!

Thanks Debby. New England is a beautiful part of the country. I regret to say that Michigan is one of the five states that I have not visited, all in the north-central US. I plan to remedy that in the next few years.

Thanks for the invite, Debby. We really do want to visit your state, along with Wisconsin, Minnesota and both Dakotas. Unfortunately, it wont be this year and probably not next year. But we will let you know if/when it happens.
