We are so mean! Working on the premise that you learn by doing, when Nomnom started walking around the outside of the bath we decided to let it happen... sure enough, she fell in. She was rescued with only her back legs and tail wet, but is convinced we did it to her on purpose and hasn't forgiven us yet.

OK, here is my fin hehehe

Hubby has had a burr under his saddle all day today. Said tonight I have been yap yapping at him all day. I have talked to him 4 times. I think it was because I asked him to help me as soon as he woke this morning that set him off. It was 11:30 and I had been up working on stuff all morning.

Scooter has come back to the computer tower to sleep after staying off it for months. Hope she does not start falling off in middle of the night again. Claws make this annoying noise when sliding down a metal computer tower hehehe.

Suzy, did I really make the Zusy avatar?? I have no memory of that one at all. Well, what do you know, I really did, I found the graphic in my puter files.

Bronie, hope the drying clothes did not get wet from the power washer. Why do men not think about things like that??

Suzy, too funny about poor Nomnom getting wet,. Of course it is your fault, can't be hers (his?) can it?? Cats do not make mistakes.

Forgot what was on the previous page, but know I did read it. Hugs to all, time to get ready for bed now, see you tomorrow.

That's what makes cats so amusing. They think they have so much dignity, yet they regularly fail miserably at it.

I have just spent the last few hours demolishing the first mosaic table I ever did. I don't think I sealed it properly and it has sat out in the weather for years. The tiles were coming loose, so it was time to lever them all off the base which will be cleaned, sanded and sealed again. Then the tiles will be cleaned of the grime, grout and glue and then I will make another masterpiece (haha)! I'll do a different pattern this time, I'm using more broken china these days. Looking forward to getting into it again, it's been months since I did one. I have another 2 ready to be done as well, as soon as I move my butt.

Past midnight here! Good Evening, Everyone!

Still haven't figured out how I lost all my comments on page 290 last night. Now I have 4 more pages to get caught up. If I don't last very long, I'll send hugs and positive vibes right now!

I'm not going to try to replicate my page 290 comments from last night. I read the entire page and had appropriate comments, but they vanished into the ether. So, I'll just say: Hi, MizT, Tami, Suzy, Heidi, CynB, Theresa, Nola, June, and Brenda.

But wait, Theresa's comments on page 290 didn't have an avatar last night! You go, girl! How did you do that? I'm impressed!

I have now read page 291, but my brain is a bit muddled so I'm not remembering much of what I read.

Hi, June, Suzy, CynB, Tami, Heidi, Rolanda, MizT, Victoria, Broni and Theresa!

I apologize to everyone for forgetting what I've read! CRAFT's disease combined with lack of enough sleep are making things difficult to remember. I think I really ought to head to bed and try to get caught up tomorrow!

Sending hugs and positive vibes to all of you!

Long time since anyone was here.
Love your avatar Theresa.
I did not bowl my best but I was in a top team and Ken was having a great day. We were overall runner ups and won $50 each. There was a prize for the best team in the morning, best in afternoon and overall runner ups and overall winners. We missed out by 1 point. It was very windy which was making me cough a bit. I have small bowls and the wind often blows them off target. Anyway we won a prize and Ken, especially is very happy. I am very tired tonight!

It is too early to be up! it is not even 5:30 here, and sun just rising. Perhaps this is just intermission and i can go back to sleep later.

Heidi, should we , like cats, strive for dignity, even though we fail at maintaining it 100%? Shucks, it is too early for philosophy.

June, congrats on your recognition at bowls, and the extra $50 is rather nice too. What shall you and Ken do with yours?

Julie, when the rest of us get behind reading and commenting, we just start back where we come in and go from there. Is that an option for you?

Cyn, your table makeover sounds like serious work. Good luck with it this time, hope you are happy with the results.

We are under heat advisory again, with heat index (feels like)of 110 (43.333C) in some areas nearby. actual temps forecast at 100 (37.777C) again. What is so bad, we are getting recofd highs for the lowest reading overnight, and nothing can cool down as it should. Low yesterday was 77 (25C) Theresa, would love some of your sweater in the morning weather to mix in here. Rolanda, you could send some of your overnight lowas in the 40'sF too! (6C)

I think it is neat, I look up Perth weather on the weather site i use and i get your temps in F, not C, so we can understand it hehehe.

noisy cat let outside, so I think I will go back to bed. Care to guess which cat is still inside with me?

We're having the same heat that MizTricia is having. It is miserable weather. Makes me long for winter, which I dislike intensely. I remember summers as a kid where the temps were 15 to 20 ℉ cooler. And we wore light sweaters in the evening.

Heidi, I also seem to remember from my younger days that when it rained or stormed, the humidity would pretty well disappear afterwards. I find the last few years that it can be more humid after a storm than before. Maybe my memory is faulty.

Morning all!
Waiting for the sun to come up so I can see how many of the clothes that I left on the line are now on the ground. It has been incredibly windy overnight.

Nola, you posted at 2:30 and I assume you were planning on studying then? Sigh. I wish I could have a really long nap and then share the rest with you....

Well the winds were not as bad as I thought, 35km with 50-60km gusts. It sounded worse than that. And there's only one piece of clothing on the ground. The sky is very red - red sky in the morning, shepherds take warning....

Good evening all, I have had a lazy day today. Tomorrow is a civic holiday for Canada, so hubby has an extra day off work. There was no need to run around like a chicken with its head cut off to get everything ready for work.

Glad you didn't have to redo the laundry, Suzy.

Nola, sorry about the psoriasis and hope it's better now. My daughter has eczema quite badly at times, compliments of my MIL.

Heidi, was IH upset about the birds when he finally noticed them? That's funny, because it has been a while.

Well, off to go and sit outside for a little while before the sun goes down. TTFN.

Hi all. Stay away, I feel like cr*p! Hannah caught a dreaded lurgy and shared the love...
This is a very fast moving one, she started with a tickley cough on Friday night and I ended up taking her to a 24hr clinic yesterday, because infections are a no-no for hubby. Her temp was a little high, so I erred on the side of caution. Doc was a bit ho-hum about it and did the natural healing schpeal, which I agree with whole-heartedly...usually. As soon as I mentioned hubby's CRF (finally was able to get a word in) he wrote out a script there and then!
I knew I had caught it last night, that taste... Going to the doc in a couple of hours.
Scared to say but hubby thinks he has it too. Poor thing had to go into work today, his one day a month!

Cyber hugs Gail! I hope hubby doesn't have it too. Maybe it's work-itis. We can hope!

I checked and the 'feel like' temp has gone up to 2.5C, but was only 1C when I took the clothes off the line. No wonder I was/am cold! I'm not dressed for that kind of weather. I think it might be time to light the fire.

Most of the clouds have blown away so I really should be doing more swearing with clothes - but I'm a whimp!!!!

MzT, There is a Quilt show that's touring the U.S. that is all about President Obama's election and I'm not sure of any details yet...heard about it in church and need to check the web site of the college sponsoring it...Wilberforce University... will try to find out more and let you know.
Take care all and have a great week.

Happy Birthday Oom Piet!!!

Suzy, maybe NomNom is marking his (her) territory, just to let everyone know whose tray it is. I have one cat that always wants to use the litter box while I'm cleaning it.
