Catherine, Sounds like you had a fantastic cruise. Hubby, son & I went to Hawaii, Christmas of 2005. We had a great time, there was so much to see & do but so little time. My FIL & MIL flew to Hawaii the cruised aroun the islands. She loved it because only had to unpack and pack once.

Thanks for the birthday wishes. You should really come to Michigan in early May if you get the opportunity again. The bulbs and flowering trees are really exceptional! I've been to Northern CA a time or two, but more often to San Francisco and San Diego. I really like the diversity that California has to offer. Plus nice weather year-round. I'm getting really tired of white on the ground and bare trees... Anyway, thanks again, and welcome to Sudokuland!

Hi Catherine! I saw your post today and wanted to stop by and introduce myself. I'm wondering where in Northern CA you are...but judging by the heat you spoke of, I'm wondering if it isn't around Redding. I'm in Grass Valley - kind of between Sacramento and Truckee.
Good to see a neighbor on the site. Do you know about the Sudokuland meet we're having in SF on November 15th? Kathy from Florida is coming out and Keith has put together a luncheon meet. He has the details - hope you can join us.
