Hi Julie! This is getting to be really spooky small world time! My 83 year old mother has lived in one of the duplexes in Luther Village since 1993. She is the original owner of her unit, one of the older ones on the property. You didn't happen to work at Westgate or South? Or live on Thomas, Reuter, or Yale?

Hi Julie - Wow! The Viola. One of the children next door plays the viola. It is such a beautiful instrument. I love the deep sound it has. My son, Scott, is very talented. He started out in Art School and realized that he loves cooking. He has artist talents, but really enjoys cooking. His wife is an art major. She blows glass and has made some very beautiful pieces. She has been teaching pottery at a local high school for the past 4 years. My second son is an airplane mechanic. He has his FAA license in Airframe and Powerplant. He loves his work. My oldest daughter is a bank teller and also works in the loan department and she really enjoys her work. I have always told my children they should work at a job they enjoy because that is half the battle of crawling out of bed in the morning. (Going to a job you like.) It is a good thing that everyone doesn't work the same job in the world.

Hi Julie. Thanks for visiting my page and bringing the flowers and mints as a welcome present. Yes, I was formerly 'em' but had to add a letter as 'em' was too short.

Julie, Thank you so much for your words. I had one of my photos published in a local newspaper in (of all places) Seattle and I just received request to use another in a book being published in....AUSTRALIA! Can you believe? Hopefully they will use my photo so I can truly say 'I am a published photographer - albeit, an unpaid one'

Thanks for welcome, lilacs and Frango Mints. Our neighbor has a lilac bush in their yard and on a hot day we can smell them inside the house.

Julie, hi. Thanks for your visit and sentiments. Despite being too busy these days to chime in much, I do enjoy the puzzles and read the comments as often as possible to stay in touch with my sudoku family. Cheers to you!

Hi Julie, Thanks for stopping by my place and for the irises and the Frango Mints (yummmm!). My hubby, Mike, likes to make blueberry and also apricot/pineapple preserves so I've brought you some bleuberry preserves and yellow and white calle lillies from my garden to help brighten your not-quite-as-new humble abode. Stop by again when you have a chance.

Julie - did I mention that we were actually going on a Princess cruise? We are flying into Anchorage two days early to have a 'tourist' weekend there, then heading to most of the same places you went.
Jeanie has been to Alaska once before, but not on this cruise. Did you do anything you would say to NOT MISS? We have booked a helicopter flight onto the glaciers, but that is it.
We are trying to get early seating for eating mainly because about six other couples from church are also going on the cruise.
Jeanie retired from teaching three (four?) years ago, and I hope to retire in two years (or midyear after my birthday if the second year is as bad as the last two or three).

Hi Julie - It was so nice to have you visit. My sister is here this week-end from Illinois. She and her family came for Jenny's graduation last night. I have played the piano for a very long time. I am not a professional, but I enjoy it and pretty much play what I want to. Jenny has taken about 6 years of lessons and plays quite well. I can't imagine living without a piano. Please come again and visit me.

Julie - thanks for typing all the info twice! I had been looking at the possibility of doing the train trip, or possibility one that is train one way and bus the other. We are going to do a helicopter trip onto a glacier - Jeanie's travel agent told her twice that if we had the money to spend on anything, that would be it.
We just found out today that my father is going to require surgery, so my parents are going to more than likely not be able to go (there are about 7 or 8 couples from church going). Depending on what we hear from doctors next week, Jeanie and I may elect to stay here and not go at this time (my father is almost 84, so surgery is always dicey).
I will let you know what happens.

Sorry I'm so late getting here to you on having your own place. I have been trying, but keep getting distracted before I complete the tour of members...and we keep growing as a family, and I happily welcome you to the family! Have fun and visit me when ever you can. I'll leave some goodies that Philly is famous for...cheese steak sandwiches, Taskeycake, soft pretzels, Frank's Orange soda, and of course scrapple. Hope you enjoy!

Hi Julie; Thank you for your wonderful note in my page. We are very proud of her. She has accomplished so much! It seems impossible she is my little baby whom I taught how to walk.
She was always very smart and Thank God she also has a good head on her shoulders.
Don't worry about not understanding. We went to dinner with one of the scientists, another student and Kathy's fiance (who is also working on his Ph. D.) and listening to them talk about their work was Greek to us.

Julie, what is happening when you try the avatar? are you having trouble finding graphics? or having trouble saving them to your puter? Or trouble sending them for approval? I can send you the instructions I have sent Rob and a few others and an avatar to get you started, if I can get your e-mail address.

Julie, when you save the graphic to the computer, do you make note of where it is stored on your computer? You will need that information to find it when you go to the submit page and click on BROWSE.

Do you know how to navigate the hard drive with the browse drop down window? there are arrows to go up to the next level, and you might need to locate your local drive, Usually C: and then the program under that where you stored your pictures.

Looks like you have not loaded any photos to Flickr , I was going to say it is the same way you load photos to THAT, but would not help.

I do not have Kathy in Valrico's e-mail. I have mamacita, rola, Lynda in Perth, Julie in Canberra, Rob, Stella, and I forget who else.
