Kathy - have a great time in Egypt. When we went to Scotland, we had just missed the Military Tattoo. That was a couple of decades ago. Of course, I love the pipes and drums. I understand that there are many military units doing their arts. When did you go, what groups were there, did you enjoy it enough to want to go again?

Kathy, I just read your comment that you were going to Egypt, how wonderful. It should be great fun to meet Wagdy and have him as a tour guide, learn and see more this way. Have fun on your Holiday, take plenty of pictures.

I just popped in to see if you had photos up; went to Waged's site and saw the two of you ~ strange. For some reason it just seems strange to see you in a foreign country on someone else's site. ~I've definately seen pictures of you in different countries before, just not on someone elses website.

We may be going to see "the critters" this weekend, will let you know how it goes. We were watching the Westminster the other day and the one who says he does not want a "critter" went all mushy over the Pedigree Dog Adoption commercials. . . . .it's a done deal.

And I am too excited and will probably spill the beans before planned.

forgot to tell you, there was a shooting at the Junior High school I went to in California. Here's something crazy to think about.....
There have been shootings at both Mine and Shawn's Jr. High schools.....mine in CA his in MD...To which Mel said, hopefully Bry and I will never have those statistics!!! Funny girl.

Re. card games. My family's favorite Gamer is 'oh hell' Double deck any number can play. start with 13 cards each, say how many tricks you are going to take. If you do you add ten points to your score (take two get 12) next hand deal 12 , than 11 etc. Second ace takes. Oh yes last card is trumps.

Hi, Kathy! Thanks for the cheery message. Jaime is up and dressed today but still refuses to go to the doctor. Aside from clobbering him with a frying pan and dragging him off to the doctor's office, I don't know what to do. He seems perfectly fine right now, but he did yesterday at this time, too. Then when he woke up this morning, he was dragging again. In fact, he slept all morning. AAAAAAAARGH! Men!

Kathy, dropping in to say hi, hope all is well with you and your loved ones.
In regard to your smilies turning black, it has something to do with them being converted from gif to jig pics, and having a transparent background.
However, all is not lost. If you open up your picture in your Paint programme, you can use the bucket icon, to fill the background in white again, just choose your colour from the selection bar. Or you can use the "paintbrush" to do this also. Then just resave your picture and all should be well. Have a go and if you need anymore help, just buzz and I'll see what I can do.

I'm broken up, Kathy ... "a bejeweled quiver for my weiner sticks" ... I don't know how to thank you ... that's one of the kindest gifts I have ever received ... ranks right up there with the porta-potty I received for Christmas a few years back.
