I was welcoming new member Sayra and saw that you gave her a pot of cream of crab soup, I would so like your recipe (if you share), I make vegetable crab soup, in fact made a big pot yesterday for our Christmas open house, I think it tasts close to the soup from Phillip's in Ocean City, MD but cream of crab sounds interesting and yummy!

hello Kathy, just wanted to wish you Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! thanks for stopping by my page. this move has kept me hopping. i definitely have "a life" now. lol. i just couldn't get a life in LA. just didn't work. no problem with that here. grandboys are keeping me busy. wrestling season will start for the oldest in a few weeks and we'll attend most matches. hope i can remember the rules! it's been several years since our son wrestled.

for the Kathy! I wouldn't say I have been lurking. I'm a dropout who has returned. I started attending lengthy "meetings" here in 12/05 and about 9 months or so later I took a "leave of absence" as I could not keep up with the postings and I found myself leaving for work later each day. Then I would come home, pop in again and try to catch up. Thankfully my children are grown and my husband would sit in the same room and play music while I read/played away. No one became to deprived, but it started taking up a lot of my time and I'm not retired yet. Yes, I met jj (my pet name for Jim) and ceecee here and became friends with them. I was very lucky to meet both this past May when my mom and I took a cruise through the Panama Canal that departed from Florida. They met us at our hotel and we had a wonderful visit. They are both very special people. Thx again for the welcome!

Last year was devastating - it was so unusual to have no-one here for Chrissy etc. We would hope that the re-build is finished soon and that we will be able to re-open during Feb/March (???)

Hi Kathy, just dropping by to say that I finally tried out the clam chowder recipe. It's summer here and we've had some very hot weather, and, well, clam chowder just didn't seem to hit the spot. A bit cooler today, so gave it a go. It was really lovely. Made heaps, so I've got some for a few days. Thanks for the recipe!! ♥ Lori
