All Right!!! Welcome to page three. Thanks for your visit and the comments on my India photos. I intend to add a lot more in the future. Didn't know you celebrated Madi Gras in Texas. Enjoy!

Stephanie - welcome from an REAL OLD Ag (class of '73). You are welcome to drop by and visit the gorilla - I live on Brothers. It is becoming pretty well known around town, so it wouldn't be hard to find out where I live.

Jamie, thank you for your kind words. Actually, I have just changed the photo on my page a few minutes ago, but I presume you were talking about the balloon photo?

Jamie, the photo is still there on my flickr site at page 8. So it hasn't gone entirely. By the way, I like your choice of avatar.

Jamie, I love that big ape of an Irishman but I don't think I care to drink any carbonated beverage bottled in Texas again. I can still remember the last one and its been years. You say you teach geometry?

Hi Jamie,
I replied to your comment, but accidentally posted it on my own page instead of here on yours -- oops! It will take me awhile to figure out how this all works, obviously. :-)

Hi Jamie, I'm actually back from Spain now but thanks for the good wishes.
We had two weeks of warm sunshine and have returned to rain, rain and rain which apparently has been unceasing since before we left. No golf as course has been water logged for over three weeks.
Walking isn't much fun here either, even the dog takes one look out of the door and reverses under the kitchen table.

Jamie - I am SO happy to hear about your planned trip to Alaska! You & Jeanie have had such a rough time these past few months & surely deserve to get away for some R & R. You will love Alaska I am sure, & it will be extra nice to share the experience of seeing it with your friends & parents.

Hoppy easter to you and yours! By the way, I have an aggie brother. He graduated in 1980, I think, in the top 10% of his class. Is that a gorilla in your front yard? Laying easter eggs? LOL

Hi, Jamie! Loved the photos especially your new acquisition. It's impressive and is so timely! Can hardly wait to see what you'll do for Independence Day - as Uncle Sam? By the way the name of Brandon's mom is Jamie, too. She's from back east too by higher north, Chicago. Have a wonderful Easter and a Happy Hanamatsuri, too!

Jamie, for stopping. Where in TX are you? my daughter lives in Ft Worth. Orchids have been my passion for over a year now. I got this one in January at an Orchid nursery outside of Philadelphia. It sets on my computer desk. I love your Gus, son goes to college at Pittsburg State (in Kansas) and their mascot is Gus the Gorilla also. Again thanks for stopping by.

Hi Jamie, Gus is looking great sheltering that handsome little guy and holding all of the eggs. It sure looks like he knows when to hold and when to fold( a little Texas humor here). Thanks for the update. It really sounds good that you and Jeanie will get a chance to enjoy Alaska. I too hope to go there next year. I was going this year but had to change my plans for that one.Sure hope that things continue to improve daily.looks as tho our search will be coming to an end by June. Keep your fingers crossed for me.

Hi Jamie,
I have never had the privilage of going to College Station but have been up and down I45 several times. I have an Aunt and several cousins in the Houston area also my sister lived there until the first of the year now in Italy.
I live in Bartlesville, 40 miles north of Tulsa, 30 miles south of Kansas. We moved here 6 years ago from Florida, husband was in the Navy 32 years and we lived many places.
I see you are planning on going to Alaska, cruise or flying? You will love Alaska at least I did. We went in 2001, did a 6 month trip in motorhome so much to see. I have an Aunt (she is 94) and several cousins in Alaska. Yes, I have a big family Mom was one of 12 children. I loved so many places up there hard to pick just one. How long will you be gone? Let me know about you Alaska trip.

Thanks for your comment on my page! This is a great site - I just wish I had about 28 hours a day, so that I could have 3 hours to spend on it!! Gus looks like he is pretending to be some mean guy, but the young man with the eggs proves him to be soft at heart. Who is the littl'un?

Love the bluebonnets, they have such great color.
I am going to sound like a tour guide for a minute. Think it's on first street in Anchorage there is a street market every Saturday. It was a good place to buy Russian nesting dolls, and beautiful boxes. In the same area there is lots of tourist shops. We found some that had schrimshaw, one had whole whale teeth all schrimshaw is done by natives. Skagway has lots of tings to do I liked the White Pass Train Tour. If you stop in Sitka do see the New Archangel dancers. I will quit being tour guide now. What month are you going?

Well, it's not Gus, but it is a nice picture you've posted Jamie. Checked your Flickr, and by the looks of it, Gus did not appreciate being dressed as a bride. Where was his flowing white gown?

Hello, Jamie and family. Beautiful picture. They are better here than they have been in a long time, too. Everywhere! And thick, too. Love em.
Just wanted to ask you how you watch/listen to youtube without 3-4 second bursts? I have that problem as well. Once it finally completely loads and I replay, it plays through w/out stopping, but it take soooo long. Can you help?

Hello Jamie - I've read a couple of times that you also have trouble watching the You Tubes and like you, I have to wait for them to download first, which is most annoying. If you find a solution to the problem, please let me know.
I love your photo and no, I won't sit on the cactus, I don't think I'll be climbing the barbed wire fence, either.
Cheers
