Oh dear Shiela - I've been AWOL so much lately that I missed the news of Nigel's passing a few short weeks ago. I am so sorry for your loss. You took such excellent care of that sweet kitty. Sending out big hugs to you. I hope when the time is right you will honor his memory with an adoption from your local shelter.

I know she is spending more time at their place in VA now. Your hike on the AT sounded wonderful. Maybe I'll get to see some pics in person since you haven't quite mastered posting photos on Sudoku (kind of hard!) or FB (much easier!). Will keep my fingers crossed for the Mich. meet up!

So great having good neighbors, isn't it? We are going camping next week and I have a young gal coming to stay with the cats because Romeo needs his pill twice a day. I have some neighbors that are great for coming over to feed when we are just gone for a day or so.

Darn it, Shiela. So sorry to hear about your tendon issue, and that brace business--it really is a bummer, in every sense of the word. I'm sure that's not the news you wanted to hear. You'd think with technology, there'd be another solution. Maybe someday soon? I'll keep you in my thoughts.
