Hi Ian.
This may not affect you as you've said you mainly do the medium (or hard?) jigsaws, but....
This is copy & paste message about the Sudoku Easy Jigsaw Problems:
They went wild after one of Gath's changes. If you go back in the beginning (15th May 2005) & check the photos in the archives you'll find that the only jigsaw is the torso in the black jumper with the white coffee cup, you'll find that photo as the jigsaw on every Easy Sudoku page up till the 12th of January this year. I did comment on this earlier this year, but I'm usually commenting when no one's around!!!
I'd say the photos we're getting are the ones from the Easy pages that don't have a home any more! And the off sized ones are possibly the very early reward photos for finishing the Sudoku!
So I think we just have to accept that the Easy Sudoku jigsaw is going to too big or very small, more frequently than being a good size!!

Ian, I thought about telling Gath when I first discovered the problem, but decided to leave things alone - every time there's something new, or a problem gets fixed another takes it's place!!!!!
I did leave a comment on the Easy page when I first discovered this, but I'm usually commenting when no one's around.....
Can't remember for certain, but I think the jigsaw problems appeared after the top of the page banners went in!

I'm glad you're okay after your fall, Ian. That was very nice of the chap who helped you. Unfortunately, that doesn't seem to happen as much these days as it used to.

Thanks for your nice comment about my home page. On our holiday we took a mountain of photos so I tried to only show the best ones on my home page. I think I succeeded.

Hello Ian. Even though I have not been posting on Easy, I HAVE been reading the updates on Anne. I have been keeping her in my prayers & hope that she will soon be released from the hospital & back home with you. <3 That would be a good start for your New Year. Hope to meet both of you in 2014!

Tell Anne even the humiliation at the hands of a PT (I know physical therapist but to me it was personal torturer!) is beneficial and even daunting at times but just plug through it. After my bone graft in my ankle and four pins, I didn't think I'd be able to run again but I did the exercise at home and continue to do so because I'm afraid to not do them. I'm running again but that was a hard long year before I could get over my pain, stiffness and fears. Tell Anne I'm rooting for her! GO, Anne!

Ian, chuckle! I know Anne's side. The impatience, the anger, the frustration is not at you (in my case at my hubby) but at her body! The behavior, and the words are directed to an unreliable body, not you BUT you just happen to be in the line of fire! So hang in there and when it's safe give Anne a hug from me and tell her it's from me and that I'm cheering her on!

I have not been on the Sudoku site in quite awhile, so I just now found out about Anne. I do hope she is well on the road to recovery. Just being out of hospital helps. Anyway, I just wanted you to know I'm thinking of you both and presume Anne will be well enough in March so that you'll both be able to attend the get together in Sydney when Kathy (Valrico) and I are there. Hugs to you and Anne.

Re today's plane photo: I think it's an F86 fighter, Sabre. Someone put the mustang information on that plane, probably a kid fooling around! There is no way of deleting the info - comments are always going astray, but I bet that one never does!!!
I trolled the net after the first time you said it wasn't mustang, & the Sabre seemed to be the best fit! So thanks for correcting me before & again now!!!

thanks for your comments and enquiry. Yes I am well. After 4 years ..pretty busy ... As a principal of a remote school in NT, I have retuned south to spend a year with family. As mum is 93 and the are other needy family members who rely on her, I thought aid better come home and put in some support. I have a years leave ... And not sure what I will do when that runs out ... Either return north or find work down south. I haven't been on Sudoku page often. I drove south just before Christmas. I am loving the joys and opportunities of being back in a social and family situation ... What with being the only driver in the household and. Having varied interests I find myself out a lot. The tinsel affect on town living hasn't worn off yet ;) I see you are supporting a picture of the. Than ... I believe it is a fabulous trip. fi.
