Ah, all becomes clear! I love getting visitors to my page, makes it all worthwhile. We waited a long time before we started travelling and Rob's making up for lost time! (Also, he figures if he stays near Melbourne they'll try to make him work more!) We have just paid money down for the next trip in a few months, heading off to Europe again, so I'll keep you advised for all the new photos. :D

Thanks for all the information about photography. I am trying to learn about it so that I can take better pictures. I have to learn to keep my eyes open for opportunities for pictures and learn to carry my camera around with me just in case an oportunity comes up. I have a decent Pentax Optio 60 digital camera which has the ablity to do everything automatically but I still have to learn how to set the focus, timeing etc. better for myself. I use Picassa 3 on my PC and that does everything you have suggested and more. Thanks again for the letter. DotCom

Hi Ian, I'm back from funerals (last week) & guests on the river this weekend & am catching up on the jigsaws etc. Just found a booboo of mine, hard jigsaw Sat'24th Nov!
You were right, it is most definitely a Welcome Swallow, Hirundinidae, Small insect-eating birds! I must have hit upload before I'd cut & pasted the new label!! Sorry about that! The photo was taken up-the-river. They love sitting on jetty poles, & don't nest on verandahs etc, because there are lots of old sheds & boatsheds there!! There are a lot of them around at the moment.

Thought you would be interested to know that Lachie pulled 8G in a Matt Hall Racing plane last weekend at Tooradin open day. Previous top had been 4G. The pilot, Dan, is a fighter pilot by day... I think he enjoyed being able to push the plane to the max.... rarely happens with joy flights... Lachie of course is chuffed to know that he didn't black out at 6G ... opens up new possibilities for him. He could think of nothing worse than wanting to do something and have his body not be able to pass muster...
