Welcome to my page!  Sit back, enjoy a glass of wine and some chocolates!  Mi casa es tu casa.  You can play around with my fishies.  To feed them by clicking here and there, which leaves little fish pellets.  Also they like to play follow the leader.  Just move your cursor around, they will follow!

Sharon, with life getting in the way I have lost touch with a lot of stuff on Sudoku, but I read something this morning that made me think of your son again. I have thought of him often. Anyway I decided to scroll through your pages looking for an update and find out that he has been home for months! Although I am way overdue I just had to say how happy I am for you that he made it home safely!!!!!!

Hi again
I guess that is part of life in the military, but I'm sure I'd be a mess! I will keep sending thoughts and wishes your way, though for now they will be for enjoying the time he is home.

Hello Sharon; the saying is an old Irish proverb. It says it all really. I have a CD with some beautiful Irish songs on, can't remember the title now, but I will have a look see and see if I can find it. My friend's daughter is an Irish dancer, she is superb. I love to watch her dancing. Take care.

Hi Sharon; Listened to John Doan, I had never even heard of a harpguitar before now. I really enjoyed his music. It must be wonderful to be so talented. Thank you for giving me an introduction. The CD I was thinking about was the Furies, not sure if I have spelt that right! I do enjoy Enya too, 'Memory of the Trees' is a wonderful album. I have left a youtube on my page of a group of ladies from Northumberland called 'The Unthanks.' They have beautiful voices. Take care.

Hi Sharon! Stopped by to play with your fish and to extend my support for you as you struggle through parent conferences. I remember the laryngitis, the fatigue, the parents who showed up drunk ... I don't miss it one bit. Hope you survive unscathed.

Shosho, thank you so much for my advancing in age wishes. You are so good at looking to the right and remembering us. Bless you for your thoughtfulness.

You made a comment about Wagdly, did something happen or is he just traveling?

Assuming, you have a half day tomorrow, are you prepared? When I was teaching, I begged to have the day before a holiday off. Never got it though. Tomorrow, I will join 16 PK-3-ers along with my wee one. I am scared, but I will face them with bells on, literally.

Have a wonderful evening, sweety and glorious day tomorrow.

Incidentally, you helped me to realize my avatar...I had been trying not to think about it and then, zing, there it is, a tiger cub, and I found one on the web in just minutes.

Happy New Year (and for the Chinese New Year when it gets here, and isn't it another year of the Tiger?)

Hello Sharon - thank you for your lovely birthday greetings. It's been a lovely day with lots of telephone calls this morning, cards, presents and lunch and tea with Amanda and boys. Also afternoon tea with my sister.
Tomorrow it's off to a winery I haven't tried before with my sister and some friends so that should be nice.

Cheers
Anne xx

Hi Sharon, did you see the answer on easy about the original performer of 'Hallelujah'? The writer and performer is Leonard Cohen.

Okay, I figured it out, your favorite number is 8. The girls and I have been studying about the Japanese dog Hachi-ko, hachi being the Japanese word for the number 8. I did a little research that showed that many cultures (not just Eastern) consider the number 8 to be auspicious. One writer suggests it is because only 8 people survived on Noah's Ark! (There was some mention of ancient/original Chinese figures.)
