The only thing I can say that was good about turning 60 was that I was able to get Social Security as a Widow. 65 is Medicare and now before I start pushing up daisies, I am on my own Social Security. Hope you had a Happy Happy! Mom is 88 this week her long weekend was to Honolulu, 2 weeks ago it was to Orlando, 2 months ago a 10 day trip to Malta. Seems she is doing fine.

Shosho - thank you for your kind words of condolence on the loss of my husband's mother. She as 102 years old and had lived a long and amazing life. We are sorry to see her go, but knew it was time.

Thanks for your Birthday wishes. Mom flew up here for the weekend and we celebrated with a huge 10½" Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. I have to admit it was one of my best and hope you enjoy a piece with me for breakfast/lunch.

It was 100° both days over the weekend - was suppose to go up to 106° today but is now slated for 95° today. Going to a BBQ tonight & sharing ice cold cherries.

Hello Sharon - thank you for your concern over my kitchen sink mishap. All is now fixed thanks to my neighbour's young grandson.
Now I just have to get Amanda's help to replace all the pots, pans, electrical appliances, etc, in the appropriate cupboard.
