Hi Tricia.
I just wanted to stop in and thank you for the birthday wishes you sent my way. Yours and everyone else's from the site made my day extra special. Cheers, and stay smiling!
Just to let you know that everyone will get the same message as it easier to copy and paste with the finger problems I have. Take care!

Thank you Tricia. I don't know why we were chosen to blessed so late, but I too wish for a healthy baby. The support, I recieve from this site is amazing, and the good natured people tolerate, humorously, my hormonal ups and downs. I believe that support and humor is the reason Morgan (Thing II) has such a delightful personality.

Oh, Tricia, what great words of encouragement. It is great to know that there are other people in the same age bracket as Mike and me, with little people around. I do not have an age problem, though my doctor seems to think this is an issue. I will admit, I detest when people say I have beautiful grandchildren and I have to correct them and say, Yes, I now I have beautiful children. It really does not bother me, that much. I do get a little chuckle every once in a while.
As for our diet, we are not perfect, but before Thing I showed up, I did a huge eating habit make over, which had me in a healthier lifestyle, which is one of the explanation of how Kendall, (Thing I) got here.
Mike (Man) went for a yearly doctors visit and was told blood pressure, cholestrol and something else, needed to be watched. So I am sure we are due for another 'what we eat' makeover is due.
Thanks for sharing, I do appreciate it. And you will get more baby news than you ever had in your life, by the time Thing III shows up, but no dates, sex or things like that, Sudokuville, likes to play the baby guessing game. I do have a buddy that will inform the world when I go to the hospital and let everyone know the baby is fine, but again, details will not be revealed until after baby and I come home.
If you would like to see how our babies came to be the last time, Jill and I did put on a great show between October, 2008 till June, 2009. That will be in the archives. Also, the baby guessing game, should still be in the forums, I think under baby game. But it has been two years since I was there, so not sure how far down the line it is.
Chat with you later

Hello Tricia - I was just reading your comment on my photo on tough and I agree, they seem to get away with anything. The local council couldn't get their act together and decide on something so Landcorp stepped in and the Minister for whatever, and she decided she had seen similar to this overseas and that's what we were to have. She doesn't have to see it. They really don't care about the environment and it fitting in as long as there is something that they've created. They are already having problems with it, I believe.

Tricia, thanks for the birthday wishes. I did have a seriously fun day and got more than I ever expected! The girls spoiled me rotten, and we spent the day making my delicious Tiramisu birthday cake, which was to die for by the way! Followed it up on Saturday with my daughter's 17th birthday, another day of food, fun and merriment.

Aw, Tricia, Morgan and I were having fun this morning. If I got frustrated everytime, I had another mess to clean up, I would be a very unhappy person. I just share, our never a dull moment around here, with the rest of the world, mostly because, it may trigger a memory and parents will grin and shake their heads in understanding.
I did not leaving my velcro child this morning. I do everything in my power, to make my girls feel secure. For the past month, since my miscarriage, Kendall has stuck to me like glue. She did not know what happened, all she knows that mama is having to go the doctor a lot. She also went me once, when the drew blood, she did not like that.
Don't know why I went into all, since I came to your page, to wish you well with your procedure. Hope all goes well.

I have said many times, I love my problems. My husband, a friend and I had a mash potato fight one time. Yes, grown adults, throwing mash potatoes at each other in a tiny appartment. We were there for two years, I think for two years, I was still cleaning mash potatoes. I am thankful, for my powdered sugar mess.
Glad to see you home. I am guessing everything went well?
Are you on FaceBook? Todays Mommy tale is on there. I am sure it will have you rolling with laughter. As the parent, I was unable to get my laugh out, until the girls went outside.

Tricia, glad you're okay, but I'll bet you're a bit sore. If you'd gone NCPH I could have been a midnight visitor (just what you'd want!). I even passed the connecting corridor overnight. Presume you went to the Deakin campus of the other place - at least they let you have a wine with dinner!! Keep safe!

Hi Tricia, I saw your post on page 4, May 29. I have a lot of cookbooks as well and enjoy cooking. The cake you were baking sounds yummy. Did you get the recipe off this site or are you going to post it in the recipe section? I would like to make that. We have family coming in June and that would be a good time for me to make that. I tried the Strawberries, black pepper and balsamic vinegar. I liked it but it isn't for everyone. We would make for good friends/mates as you would say.

Are you SHARING your wonderful Grand Marnier chocolate mousse recipe? Just wondering.
BTW, I've served corned venison for Christmas a number of times, but just because it's so good and people request it.
Cooking up icons of gift giving is a bit of a weird sense of humor. Our Easter fun: Hiding candy-filled colored plastic eggs in the rabbit cages then sending protesting little ones out to do their 4-H chores.
My holiday fantasy: If I lived in town (our area is too rural for trick-or-treaters), I'd make a cauldron of homemade root beer over a "fire" of dry ice. Then I might demand that visitors cross my palm with chocolate for a drink of "potion."
