Thanks for your Birthday wishes. Mom flew up here for the weekend and we celebrated with a huge 10½" Strawberry Cream Cheese Pie. I have to admit it was one of my best and hope you enjoy a piece with me for breakfast/lunch.

It was 100° both days over the weekend - was suppose to go up to 106° today but is now slated for 95° today. Going to a BBQ tonight & sharing ice cold cherries.

Hello Judy, me darlin'
I only just read your comment on yesterday's Parent's Page. I actually bought a small photo frame in England, I think it was, that had those words on it:- "If I'd known Grandchildren were so much fun, I'd have had them first". Naturally, I have a photo of my then five grandchildren in it.

Hey Judy - how could you forget that you are OLDER than me?? You're going to get your "card" a whole 10 months before I do, old girl. But thanks for remembering the day of my birthday even if the year slipped your mind. It's understandable - you were probably just HOPING I was older than you!

Thank you for your kindness. We are so excited. Our home in Virginia will be a second one for now. We had dreams of selling our home in Michigan and building a new one in Virginia, but our economy is so bad here I don't thing we would get much for our home in Michigan. So we decided to have a mobile home brought in on our property. It gives us our own place to stay. We can come and go whenever and we still have a home to stay in here in Michigan. Now that we are going to be grandparents, we will probably split our time between the two places.

Did you survive all the rains ok in CA? I said a prayer for all of our Sudoku Friends out there.♥

Thank you very much, dear friend, for your lovely birthday greetings. I had a lovely and exhausting day. The winery we went to was quite good but they need to improve on their cheese platters. I couldn't have a damn drink because I'm on two lots of medication for a chest infection and my asthma. Bugger!!
Dinner at my daughter's place was lovely, her husband cooked it because she was at the winery with us.
