G'day Linda - I was reading your comment about cleaning the house and you are so right. I used to be somewhat more energetic than I am now so the house isn't quite like it used to be, so I make an extra effort when anyone is coming to stay.

Linda, so sorry for the late reply to your thoughtful birthday wishes. We were off celebrating heartily aboard the Royal Clipper--what a great vacation we had! Hubby also had a birthday, plus we had our 30th anniversary as well. So the bubbly flowed. My day was even more special when I received your message. Thanks so much for thinking of me--it means a lot!

Thank you for the Birthday greetings. Should be breaking out Friday - my SIL & hubby are in Tahoe now and should be here soon to get me out. I need some one to live 'with' me for awhile - a 10# weight limit makes it difficult to 'live' alone.

Hi, from wet and cool Missouri! Just wanted to say that, I too, can take 5 minutes to do a medium. And I don't use formulas either. Don't let others get to you. We're just doing Long Math instead!

Forgot to mention that we were up in Pioneer a couple of weeks ago. My brother's best friend lives there and my brother bought 2 acres and my husband is designing the home for him...so we went to get the lay of the land - literally!

Their property is at the top of - I believe the name of the road is: Shaker Ridge Road.

I didn't remember that your husband was with CDF...did I know? Craig (my brother) is a retired Assistant Chief from Santa Clara Central. My husband and I are both retired from Monterey City Fire (my husband a Captain and me a firerfighter). Craig's excited about all the retired fire personnel up in his area.
