Greg,
There is absolutely nothing wrong with a leprechaun celebrating Purim. But it gets even better! I just got off the phone with Sam, and because his Palestinian roommate didn't have anything to wear to the kibbutz's Purim party, Sam let HIM be the leprechaun. Too many ironies on too many levels. I love it.
By way of background information: the kibbutz is home to a multi-national environmental studies program which focuses on issues as they impact the Middle East as a whole. Most of the students are using it as a semester or year of college or grad studies, and Sam is in the first class of high school grads accepted. Palestinians were admitted for the first time this year after years of student pressure, but Israel held up their visas for so long, few attended in the Fall. This is their first semester with a full complement of Palestinian students. In an abundance of caution, the administration roomed as many as they could with non-Israelis, and the rest with each other. I just hope Sam got a picture of his roommate!

Greg - thanks for dropping in! Sorry for the tardy response - my time to spend onsite is limited these days. The green is indeed left over from St. Patrick's Day - he was red before that for Christmas. Not sure "where" we are going next.
I didn't have any time to try and follow the hunt that Rose and others were staging - drat.
I have a few other notes to answer - better get to it.
Thanks for the Easter wishes - returns wishes to you and yours!!

After Church Easter, I stopped at the Road Side Rest along the Rogue River to take Tipper for a walk. It was sunny, but started raining & I started humming this song -as we walked back to the car. In my mind's eye I saw Robert Redford riding the bike. (Butch & Sundance)

Hi Greg, old buddy old pal (sorry about the 'old' bit there...). I didn't realise that I had missed your birthday; I was away for Easter. Hope it was good! I'm sure you don't look a day over (insert whatever age you were on the birthday before this one!)...

Thanks for the visit, Greg. Guess what I left all the CDs at home! My husband forgot his cuff links (it was black tie affair). We pinned them with some small gold safety pins. No one noticed! I was so worried about leaving my daughter's dress, (that I'd altered for her), the wedding present & my camera(!!) behind that I forgot about the CD's! the wedding was perfect though & so was the weather! Had a great trip down on Saturday & back on Sunday both taking about 3 & a half hours instead of 4, and only had to scan for a new radio station once. It was getting scratchy as we arrived in Braidwood so we turned it off.

Love Cab Calloway's Minnie the Moocher. A group that is reappearing (third time) at Britt this year has this song in their repertoire: Big Bad Voodoo Daddy.

Hi Greg! I think maybe Debby DID bring snow with her & it all melted when it hit our high temperatures! We had a LOT of rain yesterday. The folks here in the Tampa Bay area for the NCAA women's Final Four basketball games & the Grand Prix auto racing in St. Petersburg all got drenched. It's clearing a little today, & we hope to have sunshine for our SA get together on Wed.

Hi Greg, loved being in Spain yet again. I think four or five days at a time is a nice amount to relax off a little. The good thing is it is close by so I can be there in the shake of a head and the flights are always cheap.
How is snow going? Is it abating? We had snow here in England when I arrived back on Sunday all 1cm of it, can't imagine how it must be to be inundated with it most of Winter. Would love to visit Canada when it is like that, I bet it is a sight to see.

Greg, sorry to hear about the armoury. We walked around that area, but decided not to take the guided tour, so, we didn't get to see inside. We're doing OK, hope you are too.

Thanks for taking care of my racing gear, Greg, although I'm not sure what you can do with tennies, sweaty socks, short shorts, and a tank top! WD40?? Isn't that what the Aussie girls use for ... uh ... well ... you know. Oh, you're talking about my wheelchair! Thank goodness I'm not there yet!

That's a totally awesome amount of snow Greg!!!!!! Thanks for the link! My baby sister worked at Banff in the 1980s & I have a wonderful framed poster called "Spring Fever at Sunshine Village" which I love & keep hoping I can get there one day, every time I walk past it! It must be really tough living with that much snow though!

Thanks Greg for notifying me. We did visit Quebec City as part of our course but I can't remember much of our visit except that is is a lovely and picturesque city.
I always shed a tear when these old, irreplacable buildings are lost forever. Yet I am amazed that the Germans were able to rebuild their cities so successfully after the devastating of WW II. The Russians did the same in St Petersburg after it was clobbered. So there is still hope for the old armoury and the important thing is that many of the exhibits were saved, Thanks.

CG, No, thank you. We did not have as much snow this year as last year, at least in Denver. The mountains really got it, as did Durango. I need to add some pictures of Sean and Ashley's house...it looks like your pictures.
I think Bergen is a sweetie, but I'm biased. It tickles me when others see the special in him. He and Sean are coming to Denver this weekend to see James in the school musical, "Guys and Dolls". I can't wait.
