CP, not sure what you mean by "A" class. When the 190E came to the US, it was called the 'Baby Benz,' which is what I have. You ought to get another 100,000 km on yours before any serious repairs are needed (fingers crossed for you).

My problem is that, with rear wheel drive and an automatic transmission, the poor little thing was helpless on snow and ice. That's why I just bought an old (but lovely and dignified) Saab with manual transmission and front-wheel drive.

I can't imagine pulling that kind of shift with a foot in a boot cast beside. I hope you have a good, restful amount of time "off" and find yourself refreshed by being able to take it easy. May there be someone who can wait "hand and foot" on you for a while! I'd give you a couple days of friendly "companion care" if I could get there. You poor thing.

I landed a few minutes early and Gail was waiting for me right outside the baggage claim. She was making such good time on her drive that she had to pull over and nana nap and eat snacks so as not to get to the airport hours early!
Slept like a log last night.

Hi CP. Long overdue for a visit. I've been meaning to stop by & tell you I got a big kick out of your comment to Fat Guy (or whoever?) about the use of "your" instead of "you're". That is one of my biggest pet peeves. I can't understand why people can't get it right!

I was so busy with our travels & our daughter's thyroid surgery & complications, I wasn't paying much attention to Sudoku happenings during the past month. Sorry to read in above comments that you've been feeling blue. Hope things seem better soon. You sneaky little CP! I was stumped yesterday when the package arrived from Suffolk, Virginia...but that didn't stop me from diving right in - must have eaten half the pack of dark chocolate Timtams on my own last night! You are full of surprises! It was on the tip of my brain that someone's hubby had just returned from the states, but I couldn't remember who. Thank goodness Plum helped me sort it out.
