I have been meaning to catch up again but with friends staying - jsut back from Laos and preparations to go bush early this morning ... the trip was canceled at the other end at the last minute... just haven't made the call. hope you are having a wondeful time in Darwin.

Thanks, Cathy! I'm doing as well as can be expected. Son #2 is coming around, Son #1 has banned me from Bergen for I don't know what reason and won't talk to me ablut it. My sister and ex get to visit, I don't. Not back to work as a PA yet, but working on it. How are you and yours? I gon't get here much anymore.

Hi there CP - How did your Red Velvet cake turn out a few weeks ago? Did your son and friends like it?

Hello CP - I am glad you liked the cake. I know flour can make a big difference. I once knew a lady who always bought her flour in Canada because of the nice texture it had. I believe humidity and such can have an effect on baking. This will give you a good reason to bake it several times until you come up with the right combo!

CP, thank you for the link to the winners of the quilt show. Oh My, such wonderful quilts. I did not get through all of them, must have my morning coffee, but I shall go back again and again to look and drool over them. I saw one, forgot the name or the prize, but a daimond grandmothers flower garden, only second time I have seen that pattern, ever. I have an antique quilt done in that pattern, in pastel 1930 and 1940's fabric. That was most interesting to see that pattern again.

Again, thanks for sending me the link, lovely quilts. I know you must have enjoyed that show! I almost feel like I have been to Sydney and the quilt show!
