Dear Angie - My heart goes out to you and your family. We have seen so much of the same thing happen here in our state. It isn't easy. (My husband worked for over 33 years for one of the car companies before he retired last year.) My door is always open and you can vent on my page anytime! I understand!

Hi, Angie. I've just been catching up on yesterday's comments and read of the horrible situation facing you and your family. No wonder you sounded off against the Howard government! Despite what some say, the reality is that it's because of Work Choices (whose choices???) that companies are able to act this way and, as always, it's the relatively powerless who pay the price in the interests of profits for business. We need to be reminded of these realities. I hope you will be able to find a way through this that will work for you all.

Angie, read your posts from yesterday and can sympathize. About 2 years ago, hubby, sister and BIL went through the same thing, all different companies. The only advice I can give is, keep a positive thought. I know it's hard and if you ever need to vent, you're more than welcome to bend my ear.
