Hi Bean, missed meeting up with you when I was in Melbourne on Dec 9. Found Gail in the Federation Square, but hopefully when I'm over there next we can meet as well. Very jealous of how many sudokuists hang out in Melbourne. Maybe the collective tone of Melbourne is a little higher than Adelaide. (but I doubt it - hehe). Hard to find other Adelaidians on site. Hi Bean - don't post very often but try to do the puzzles each day. Nearly met a few at Gail's last May but at the last minute had to work. Hope to meet some people this year - first month almost over already - have a caravan at Rye and have only been there for 2 days over these holidays - that's the trouble with having your own business!! Still, it keeps me off the streets....

My goodness. Over 116 degrees F. You will indeed be over-cooked. The label must be scorched and the tin must be melting. You must almost be a has-bean-can. It is below freezing here. Let's do a half-swap. But on the other hand maybe not. The gurus at the top might try to manipulate the climate and cause a cataclysmic catastrophe and there would be nothing worse right now than a plague of flying cats. Maybe I should have hot beans for breakfast. The 'chilly' might help your situation. I probably experienced 116 out in West Queensland - but not on the coast. I used to escape to the coast (and better, the coastal ranges) to cool off. I hope it is a dry heat and not muggy. However I seem to remember it is your wet season so probably it is muggy. So your cataclysmic catastrophe is a muggy moggy; as it were. I am rambling. It is in the morning. I have been busy with another 'cat-' problem - a leaky cat-heter. P*sses me right off! Maybe I should call the district nurse, but she might take the p*ss out of me. it is a cat-ch 22 situation (as soon as the cat numbers reach the magic 22)

Thanks for the get well wishes Bean, although I feel like a bit of a hypochondriac (I hope I spelled that correctly) when compared to what people are going through in country Victoria! I have no problems divulging details - I just had a nasty fall when out running last Tuesday and hit the edge of a kerb very hard on the right side of my chest.

Anyway, I must go and do the puzzles now!
