Hi Maureen, I am beginning to understand the worry you must have had with your daughter's illness - particularly as she was overseas at the time. Is she now back at home in Australia?
I found a lot of informationon on Google about the illness. Probably the most comprehensive coverage was at

but there was also a good coverage on the site put up by the Mayo Clinic. Did your daughter have a a Radiofrequency Ablation also and has the treatment been a success?

As for the rock-climbing and cave exploration — I wouldn't say that I am brave ... actually, I'm pretty wimpy! When I first started climbing, I was in tears and terror ... half of my brain assuring me that with the rope and a knowledgeable belayer, the worst I could do was maybe skin my knees, but the OTHER half quite sure that I was going to die!! (and I was only about 10 feet up, so I wouldn't have died even without the rope! I've had to push myself to overcome my fears, even as I can realize that they are irrational fears. I have discovered that I can do far more than I would ever have thought!
