Let me know how the lasagne tastes. I was trying to find a recipe a friend gave me a long while ago, but I've lost it with all the move I've done over the years. I thought it was sheets but you never know. Thanks again xx

I've also taken to adding a layer of sliced mushrooms (no stems) over one of the meat layers, or mixing them in with the remaining meat after using most of it.

Thanks for letting me know it was good. It is now on my recipe list for this week. I think I will freeze it in portions as it seems a lot. I can see the suggestion from Ian so I will encorporate that as well. xx

You should see the lasagna's I have made in the past! I think the worst I made was a vegetarian one. Some things are just not meant to be. But I shall give this one a whirl.

I made the lasagna. I used chicken and bacon lardons, and some mushroom pesto. Threw in a carbonara sauce and hey presto. I didn't measure the ingredients (but then I never do). It turned out lovely. It is going in the freezer tonight, enough to feed an army.

Thanks for your appeciation of the poems yesterday. I find such comments very encouraging because outside Sudokuland I work in isolation.
I am concerned about the traditional 'seasons' because they are being adversely changed by effects from global warming on the weather. Perhaps they are disappearing altogether. If so that could reflect damage to the ecosystem.
