Hi Kathy. I haven't visited in a while, but I came back hoping you had some of your cream of crab soup going, as I'm a tad hungry. Brought you another beavertail pastry (check my avatar). When are you going to put some pictures up? Take care and stay smiling!

Kathy, my husband grew up in Columbia, MD so the crab soup is a definite hit at this house. My boys are actually 4 years apart. This picture was 18 months ago when they were 5 and 9. My younger one had an accident and knocked out his 4 top front teeth. The bottom started to loosen up about 6 months later. He is now 6 1/2 and his teeth have grown back. He will need braces. I am leaving you some fresh squeezed Florida orange juice to enjoy. Let me know when you need more, I am always ready with a refill.

Hi Kathy...thanks for your welcome message and the pot of Maryland Cream of Crab Soup. It's delicious. Also, I'm sorry for my late visit to your page because of some problems on my computer. Anyway, here...have some traditional Chicken Rendang from Malaysia. I'm sure you'll love it.

Kathy, Mitchell is ok with the braces. A few of his friends have them. Not only did he just get braces, he broke his arm 3 weeks ago and is more proud of the cast than the braces. Boys will be boys.

Hey Kathy, C.G was right, sorry I didn't make it clear...yes, drain the pineapple, but hold the juice and you can add some if the consistency is heavy. Let me know how you make out. Its a hit here with most of my family...hubby says its too sweet for him! Opposites do attract!

Just popping in to say thank you for your contributions to the Receep page. Hopefully one day we'll have enough to publish a cookbook! I'm going to try out the cornmeal bread next weekend. Sounds yummy.

Kathy,
Thank you for the wonderful soup. I hope you receive my message--I am still trying to learn how to respond. I am leaving you a nice cool glass of Vernor's ginger ale with a scoop of ice cream in it. Have a great day!

Kathy,
Thank you for checking up on me and my son, we've just come through the roughest season, begins w/ my son's birthday, then my birthday, then Gary's birthday, our aniversary, the day of death, then fathers day...but we made it!
Friends help! If not I'm sure I'd have gone crazy, (really crazy, maybe indistinguishable from the regular me), through-out the three years.
So, thank you again

Okay, that one worked so I'll try again. I'm back in Sudokuland playing catch up while Rob is in NC for five days. I happened to notice on Fishing Guy's page that you were born in Cleveland. What a coincidence. So was I!! But I'm sure I was born long before you were - back in 1946. I lived in East Cleveland & Cleveland Heights before going to the Univ. of Michigan & marrying my husband, then moving 17 times during the next 23 years! We finally settled in Valrico in 1986. Hope all is well with you.

Kathy, I know exactly where Huron Road Hospital is! It's not far from Shaw High School where I graduated & the street where MY grandmother lived, Strathmore, I think? Did you attend any schools in East Cleveland or did you move before you were old enough? Have you been back to the Cleveland area at all recently. Rob & I were married in East Cleveland & went back the year O.J. Simpson was on trial (?) to visit the church, my old schools & houses, etc. That whole area is all black now. As we were driving around, a car stopped & asked us if we were lost. Guess we looked out of place there! It's nice to know someone here in Sudokuland who is older than I! There are only a few others that I know of - Mamacita, Judy from SD, Grannie Mo, Val from Bolton, & a couple others.

Thanks for the welcoming comments and for the beautiful soup (do you have the recipe). I have been doing the puzzles for a while and enjoy reading the comments to see how the sudukists are fairing. Finally plucked up the courage to open up my house. I am leaving a bottle of d'Arenberg 'The Footbolt Shiraz' with a little King Island Brie for you and your visitors. This is a nice full bodied red from South Australia and some lovely cheese. Enjoy Angus or Gus

Hi Kathy, and thanks for the visit and for thinking of my mom. I'm taking her to a heart specialist on Friday, so we'll see what that reveals.
Isn't Arthur a lad? I brush him about once a week, and sometimes he gets huge knots near his haunches or under his belly--those I generally snip out. And that's it for his care. Eventually I'll post pictures of his 'brothers'--Holmes and Spike. (We once had a Watson, Sherlock and Moriarty ... Arthur is named after Conan Doyle; Spike was my husband's idea--go figure.) Cheers and have a Happy Fourth!

Hi, Kathy!
You are very , hope that my advise will work for you. You are lucky that you have your own 'technician' in the house. I had to learn all by myself. Actually I'm not that good at computers either. Just sometime little thing can help. Uff, why do I talk too much?
Anyway, let me know if it worked for you.
Cheers, Vera

Linda

Thankyou Crab Soup recipe. I will have to try it out soon. We tried a fish chowder recipe on the kids a few years back with little success. (Don't suppose you have one of those too??) I have raided my cellar and have found a bottle of Penfolds Bin 389 for yours. This is a great drop.. http://www.penfolds.com/collection/bin/bin-389-cab-shiraz.as p

Thanks.

Kathy...Wow! I am so lucky to know the generous people who respond so quickly to any request...no matter how far out. I have already commited Linda to trying to find some when she meets up with rob/Utah in Iowa Thursday. If you don't mind holding on to yours to see if see has success, I'd be very grateful. BTW, we should exchange email so that we can get the addys just in case...do you have anyone's email on the site..if not, do you have msn? Let me know and thanks again...you are so sweet!

Hi, Kathy!
Glad to hear that you solved your PC 'problem'.
for welcome message, and for the Crab soup. Just how could you possibly know that it is my favorite dish from a very few that I love?
It is so nice to hear that somebody noticed your job. I'm talking about pictures. Being on this site for a while, is encouraging, when I see nice pictures, I want to try to do it on my own. So far flowers and other plants come out good, at least they don't fly away, while I'm pointing my camera at them.
And here is I'm leaving for you and your guests some Mediterranian sweets, that going well with tea and coffee. And of course flowers for you.
