G'day Mamacita, Getting this big thankyou back to you a bit late. I was not surprised to hear from you as you always have something nice to say to everyone and some encouraging words. Liz is going very well with the implant but it's very early days and it all takes a lot of getting used to. She will be fine though as she is a very laid-back, placid person who never gets impatient about things. She always seems to have all the time in the world (which has annoyed me more than once I can tell you), and this is just another one of those times when everything will be ok in its due time. Every day she seems to be aware of yet another new noise. When she was here yesterday she couldn't work out what something was until I finally narrowed it down to the fridge. It was just the motor running, which I don't even notice at all, but to her it was a constant new noise. It's all quite interesting really. Anyway once again, thanks for your good wishes. By the way I love your new avatar - you look quite the groovy granny!! Kate

Mama, thanks heaps for popping in. It does me no end of good to hear your calming voice. Yes, things are slowly slowing down here. D#2 just turned 18 and three days later, got her driver's license. I think we were all more on edge about that than we were letting on, it was certainly a great relief when she passed. Today is my one and only son's 23rd birthday. I popped down to his work to wish him a happy birthday. If I hadn't, he would have got a suspicion that something is up. Well, something is up, his girlfriend has organised a surprise party for him for tomorrow. She said she nearly told him about it because he sulked so much when she said she didn't really feel like going out for a big night tonight! Men!
Lots of love to you and my continued thoughts for Sully.

Here's some gifts for you. I am now seeing a physio to help with some the remaining pain in my knee. She says it is because some muscles have not ben owrking properly for a loooooong time. Please come back quickly for another visit. I have updated my Youtube clip and I am sure you will appreciate it. It's not music but an animation and sometimes pictures say so much more than words.

Hi Mamacita, nice to here from you. We miss you on the SA pages. I hope Sully is doing well. Amber is liking her school work. She has finished almost three months already. I'm hoping we can get through two years by the end of June. She is also a great Brownie and Spark helper, always willing to help the little ones, even though they bug her sometimes. Mamacita - thanks for dropping in! The Student Council at school is hopefully going to be taking care of Gus occasionally, so he may make more frequent wardrobe changes.
This year has been incredibly hectic with no signs of slowing down, but I have really good kids, so it is okay.
Jeanie is going to be substituting for one of our math teachers that is due to have a baby right after Thanksgiving, so I may get to see her more for a while!
Glad your priest is working out well. Our NEW search committee is finally getting to the stage of looking through papers and setting up interviews. They seem to feel there are more than one excellent prospects, so I am keeping my fingers crossed. I figure it is still 3-5 months at least before we can expect a new person, but hopefully that will be it.
Sorry about PSU - I was really hoping they would pull off the upset.

Mamacita. A gorgeous autumn day here. Just dropping by with a bouquet of flowers to brighten your surroundings. We've just passed the one-month anniversary of mom's death and are now dealing with the inevitable clearing away of household items, preparing the house my father built for sale. Very difficult, and there are some emotional (and testy) moments. Still, we soldier on and hubby and I strive to find those precious moments of laughter that come with fond memories. Our three cats are helping us too! Hope you and yours are doing well. Sending you blessings that your week is filled with joy.

We had such a fun month in Oct. & really enjoyed our time with Jane, Jaime, Celia, & Bryce. Nov. looks like it's going to be just as busy. A friend from Switzerland will arrive on Sat. for a two week stay, & Wendy & her family will arrive on Mon. for a 5 day stay. Hope Sully's health is improving & you are enjoying fall in PA.

Hi Mamacita, Just checking on you and Sully. Do hope things are going good and that Sully won't need any more surgery. I know how when one thing goes wrong other things seem to follow. May you get to SF and have lots of photos taken of you holding your great-grandchild. Hopefully you will be able to visit him/her regularly so he/she knows and remembers his/her great-grandparents.

One of my cousins was a grandmother at 32. We figured at the rate she was going she would be a great-grandmother by 50. She now has 4 grandchildren (3 boys 1 girl by her only daughter) and at 62 still isn't a great-grandmother.

Mamacita: I'm am so sorry to hear of Sully's latest setback. I thiughts and prayers are with both of you. How exciting for both of you though with your great grandchild due to arrive shortly. Take care, both of you!

Oh Mamacita, congratulations!!! a first great grand child! Wow! Are you sure you're old enough to really have one? Don't worry I won't tell that you were a child bride!

Wishing you and Sully the best. Maybe the second surgery will turn out to not be necessary, maybe it will go very well and the recuperation will be quick and easy. Whatever happens, stay positive, but who am I to be telling you that. I think you're the most positive person I know.

You both will, of course, continue in my prayers. Keep him healthy so he is ready for it when necessary. It's very rigorous trying to stay healthy all the time!
