I am glad to hear that in addition to enjoying your son you are remembering to carve out precious time for yourself too. When my girls were little it was the time of the 'super mom' when you were supposed to be able to do and be everything; wife, mother, career women and so on, and I'll tell you I had my struggles. Well, that's in the past, thank goodness. And YES we are making 2 trips to the beach this year and we are all so excited. Going to OCMD in June and then Bethany MD in July. We have never been to Bethany Beach before so that will be something new for us. And we will be with family each time so that just makes it more fun. How 'bout you, is that son of yours going to have his little feet in the sand? Oh, that brings up memories of sand filled suits and diapers!

Enjoy Montana, hope you are visiting family or friends too, to show off that beautiful son of yours! And, you seem to have your head on straight regarding juggling home, child(ren) and just plain life in general (as you know it today). Here is a thought on cleaning house that I borrow from Phyllis Diller (who is much before your time :) ), enjoy - Cleaning your house will your children are growing is like shoveling the snow before it stops snowing. Have a great spring and stop in to say hi from time to time!

Just stopping in to say thanks about the cilantro tip and got rewarded with some new pics of your little pride and joy! Look at all of those teeth and what a ham for the camera! BTW your flowers look pretty too. We are leaving for Ocean City MD next Saturday and so ready to hit the beach. I am doing great, thanks for asking, joined the YMCA a few months ago and feel in better shape than I have in months, making the hubbie go too. I am hope you and yours are doing well too Eri, please keep in touch. When is your Montana (is that right?) trip?

Sorry, it has taken me all day to get back to you. I now know that my first pregnancy was wonderful. Man and I, had been told for 17 years that we would never have children. I just love proving some people wrong. Kendall was a wonderful surprise, for the last 3 years we have been in total amazement of her. We thought she would be the only one and have raised her that way. I have not seen my floors forever, it looks like Toys-R-Us up chucked here.

As for the birth, I had a epidural, and it worked wonderfully, don't remember a thing, except smelling burt pop corn.
This one was a surprise too. And this pregnancy is so not like the first one. It was going so fast when I had my prego buddy, Jill, but she went off and had her baby 4 weeks early, so now it seems like time is standing still for me. I am not handling it very well.

Eri, thanks so much for your quick message, I am trying to wrap things up at work so my vacation can begin, stop by in a couple weeks maybe I'll have new pictures posted, I am so looking forward to putting my toes in the sand, that will make it seem like summer for me, you take care too and enjoy yourself!

Wanted to let you know, enjoy this speed of your little one. Girl 1 turned 3 and seemed to get faster. She is very busy and wants to help with Girl 2 so much. I love Girl 2's speed, except in the middle of the night. Girl 1 had us spoilt, she only woke one time a night. Girl 2 is every 2 hours, without fail.

Oh, Eri, dream on about the naps. They are going to become a thing of the past. I am still struggling to keep them. Then on top of that you have an injured older male in the house. Oh, poor Eri. I feel for you woman. Nothing like an invalid male or sick. I would rather clean public toilets all day than to take care of him. This is coming from someone, whose husband has been on medical leave for 7 very long weeks and was just informed it maybe another week.
Your little guy is at a wonderful age. Not that I have not enjoyed the 3 years with my oldest girl, every day is amazing with her. But it seems like from 9 months to 18 months, were spectacular.
Now, a little Mommy bragging. Which of course, I am sure you have learned that just as you brag on the little darlings, they make a liar out of you. Anyway, at nap time yesterday, Kendall read her own story. It has been months since we have read Green Eggs and Ham but she read the story in order all the way through. I was so happy and so very proud. (Yes, I know she does not actually know how to read, but she told the story). And then bless her heart she took her nap without having to pass a law through congress. Love it when that happens.

Have not heard or seen you for too long, fellow mother buddy. Just checking in to see if you are totally exhausted from your now very mobile and curious crusader. Have you noticed how they can go from zero to light speed in nano seconds? Or has having an invalid (is that right spelling) husband done you in. I do not envy you there, mine has been home going on for 3 months now. Two doctors have released him 2 months ago and he is still at home. I am truly thinking about committing one of us.
I maybe the one committed, in 10 days my oldest starts school. There are days I am not ready and then there are the days where I seriously think about sending my 3 year old to boarding school in Switzerland.

Cyber hug to you dear Eri. 11 weeks to the day, hubby was home. Then there was a tease. He went to work on Tuesday and was off on Wednesday. I have to say I was glad he was here for the transition of the new baby other than that I was seriously thinking of asking the doc for drugs. I believe you will need them sooner, since my hubby was not sick or injured, he was just himself.
Does your son look like he just has two arms and two hands? It is amazing how fast those little arms and hands can go. I know you have been told this a thousand times, so have I, enjoy this time. Kendall starts school on Monday and we had meet the teacher tonight. It became a reality. Oh my gosh, I do not think I am strong enough for this. She is my baby. She went into the room like she has been going to school all her life, where as the majority of the children were clinging to their Mom's and whining. I was so proud of her, not afraid to try something new. I am still not ready. Have fun, or as much fun as you can with hubby home.
