my #1 baby was due and born on that date..
he will be turning 22 on the 18th Aug.

due date is 2 weeks tomorrow !! 22 years ago the 18th was a Monday, the day Robert was born.

'Mondays child is fair of face,
Tuesdays child is full of grace,
Wednesdays child is full of woe,

And the child that is born on the Sabbath day

Let me tell you.. my Stephen was born on a Wednesday, and yes he is 'full of woe' hehe

Thanks so much for taking the time to update me. I was induced with my first daugther, it's not much fun, but it wasn't too bad either. My water had broke and then she was taking her good old time. If you went to Lamaze classes use your breathing techniques, they really do work, and let your hubbie help you out with them, it gives them something to concentrate on because otherwise they feel kind of helpless. It's all up to you and that baby boy! I am SO excited for you, this is an experience that will change yuor life forever, enjoy every single moment - including the birth, what a miracle!

Thank you so much for thinking of me, we had a wonderful holiday and I am looking forward to this new year with renewed hope that it will be full of wonderful happenings. Your son does look like a litle boy now, and it sounds like you are enjying every second of your lives together. Remember to take time for yourself and for you and your hubbie too, that is one of the best things you can do for your family...I wish someone would have told me that early in my days of motherhood. I think it's great that we share our anniversary date, I would like to tell you that it held special meaning for us before we got married, but that would be a fib, we actually were trying to get married on my husband's birthday (10/13), we'll no matter it is very special to us now and to you too. Take care, please keep in touch if you can. I only visit the website during work.

Eri, I have just been going through the messages of comfort that were left on my page and am slowly getting around to thanking everyone. It seems I can only do a few at a time as it all gets a bit much.
Thank you for your very kind words, she did have an amazing personality, and was still giving us many life lessons in her final week. We were all very lucky and privileged to be able to share that week with her.
Each day gets a little easier, I can think of her and feel happy now instead of getting all teary-eyed...most of the time.
