One of my better attempts posing with a statue.  All I can say is that it's lucky for anybody seeing it that there's no audio.

Youtube- Julian Bream and John Williams playing my favorite piece of music, Claire de Lune, by Debussy.

It's hard to tell which one was worse, his playing or my voice.

Ah Keith...love your comment on my page..
"I suffered through having my birthday in paradise."
Tough...isn't it. But somebody has to.
My birthday falls in autumn and Melbourne always turns it on at that time of the year.... consequently I always feel like I am in the most special place in the world.
Ciao for now

Hi, Keith! Could you let me know how many are showing up for the Nov 15 meeting? Preferably the list but I know you're busy so how many females and males? Please let me know, please, please with a cherry on top?

Hey Keith! I, too - like Shosho, would like a head count. I'm bringing something for everyone and wanted to be sure I had the count right. I would like to know the number of actual Sudokuers and also the number of guests of Sudokuers. Thanks for taking the time to let me know.

Actually the impish side of me is emerging and Vici is going to be my co-conspirator! We want to make this occasion memorable with a few laughs! We want this get-together to embrace a closeness that will last us a lifetime of friendships!

Thanks Keith! I believe Linda's husband is coming with her. I'm picking them and Mamacita up at their hotel and bringing them with me to the Beach Chalet.

Keith, the San Francisco meeting sounds so great! And so many of my favourite people will be there. I wish I could join you, but hubby and I will be in New York City celebrating our 35th first date anniversary. Can we all meet in the middle somewhere? Seriously, I'm sorry I won't be there with all of you but am hoping you'll at least raise a glass for me (and if you don't, I'll cast a gypsy hex on you!)

Thanks, Keith! Will try VERY hard to have fun in Italy! (Probably won't even have to try!) I'll look for some good statues... found some in Wales while I was there!

Ok, Keith, count me in on the SF blowout! Kathy and Rob talked me into it when they were here this weekend! Unfortunately, Jaime won't be coming (he refuses to fly any more and besides, someone has to stay home to feed the cat.) Seriously, I will be there with bells on. I'm not sure yet of my arrival and departure dates yet because I'm waiting to hear from a cousin in Palo Alto to see if I can manage a visit with her while I'm in the area.

Hi Keith this Bean would love to join the party....
I make all my calls on the VOIP phone - we don't have Skype. [in fact I know nothing much about skype..] If there is a phone number that I can call complete with area code I would love to ring you. I will try and sort something with Vici [presume she has a mobile] - would love to talk to you all....

Yes, I will be there, Keith. I kinda figured with the new grandbaby Judy wouldn't make it. Or, maybe, after meeting me she doesn't want to meet any more sudokoists!

Keith: You're most welcome! Everyone just seemed to be busy except me so it seemed natural. It always bugs me when people have to chip in more, though, accountant that I am :). Comes from too much wine, I suppose!

Thanks for hosting the party. It was a great place to have it! Judy would have been the life of the party - too bad she couldn't make it.

Hi, Keith! Just want to thank you and Lynne again for being such terrific hosts. Not only at the Saturday gathering, but Friday as well. It's great to have personal "tour guides". I hope those of us who reside on the East Coast will be able to reciprocate soon!!! (After we recuperate from this bash, of course.)

Great photos of the SF meet!
Looks like y'all had a great time, even if the bridal party cut it short.

Sorry I couldn't make it. Definitely my loss...

Hey Keith, that's excellent. Hope you have a fantastic time. We're on the far side of the country and if you do make it over here you'll be assured of a warm welcome....if you can understand the 'strange (sic) accents'.

Most of my response was to Dorthea. About her Falcon sighting.
An Erne is a Sea Eagle, the White Tailed variety rather than the White Bellied pictured on Kids 6x6. The juveniles look similar. All I stated was that they looked similar.

Keith - WE had thanksgiving here for the whole family. So we put your e-mail in our look at later folder. We meant to get to it earlier, but then the shingles showed up, and we have not got to it yet. The doctor that the ER gave me so many pain pills I just couldn't think. Saw my doctor today and he took me off of most of them. We will try .

Hey Keith, how was the concert? Their sound is so 'pure' - did the acoustics do them justice?
Thank you, really enjoyed listening.

Hey thanks for that Keith...

so now I Know -
22's the go.

I had been going to take the Jiminoregoninbeijing a bit further .... but thought I may have been getting altogether too silly.

While I'm here, and though you may wish for soemthing a littel stronger, I'll leave you a traditional bottle of Christmas Cordial and wish you and your's a wonderful Christmas.

It's cool 26C in Darwin today with days of rain (we have a cyclone (not to intense) that has crossed the coast - a few hundred miles west of here) and the rain is in it's wake) but we often have temperatures in the mid 30's at this time and the cordial is refreshing.

LEMON CORDIAL
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.5 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off the heat and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven ) bottles
