Hi Anne - yes I am still about - I just have a paid job 4 days per week and have been trying to make a quilt etc etc (insert here all the excuses in the world). I try to pop in and have a look at the puzzles most days and if I miss a few days I always go back and see what I missed. So sometimes I could have commented but it is way too late. I have just started a flikr page so that is fun - somewhere else to put my flowers. Thanks for dropping by my page.

Hi Anne! I have posted some of my Peru photos on my page. It was difficult to pick which ones to post, as we have hundreds of them! We had a wonderful time, and miracle of miracles, were not effected by the altitude! No need for the Diamox, Cipro, etc..Thank you for all your good advice!

Anne - I know you have some great "oldies" photos hidden away, and I think you should post them. How could they not be great? You're not only a cutie now, but you have a terrific sense of drama. Take for instance that stunning Christmas tree costume!!! Love it! I even thought of "stealing" that picture last year to put on my Christmas cards.

Hi Anne, thanks for checking my photos! I was the one in the middle, but I'm the eldest & the shortest. The youngest Lt side of photo is the tallest. Maureen's just a bit taller than I am. The baby of the family (who was about 11 then & wasn't going out with us!) is about as tall as Colleen. We have a brother right in the middle - Me, Maureen, KP, Colleen & Margaret!

Hi Anne, The old Polaroid camers!. I still have a pair of hotpants from that era. (I have a collection of historical clothing dating back to 1880's.). These old photos are a bit of fun. But look back at photos of our parents/grandparents taken at the same age we are now and with the clothes they wore then they look so old!!!

Hey Anne - so great to have you stop by...many thanks. I know what you mean about finding time...the more time I spend in Sudokuland the more pages I want to go visit and the more friends I make...well - let's just say I'm not getting much else done these days!
I submitted some photos for puzzles a while back and now am trying to remember how I resized them to submit. One of the joys of aging is that every day is a new beginning!!!

I am not certain where Sogndal is. The nearest town to Flekke is Forde. It is truly in the middle of nowhere, but the people are great and I visit an international school located there where there are marvelous students from throughout the world and I try to get a few of them to come to the University of Florida.

I am told that my first visit to Central Australia (and afterwards Darwin) was whilst still in my mother's womb for the opening of the Flynn Memorial Church in Alice Springs. Must have peeked out of Mum's belly button and liked what I saw. Maybe it's no accident that I have arrived up and roamed around in NT. :)

Hi Anne, I haven't been on sudoku for ages. I thought I'd have more time in retirement, but it doesn't seem to happen. I also have to "share" the computer with hubby. We are enjoying ourselves very much though and are managing to fit in the odd trip and my dancing, our theatregoing as well as much socialising with friends. Hope things are going well for you. it looks like I am back on-line finally able to post messages again. It was sooooo frustrating being able to look but not post! I admitted to Mary that I was forced to do some housework but she chastised me strongly and I am sure I will stop soon! Thanks for explaining your abbreviations - we will have to come and visit one day. I work at a school so I only ever have school holidays off - makes time off very busy!

Hi Anne! Just finished looking through your photos - they are wonderful! My family had a great holiday in WA a few years ago, and Albany was a favourite spot. Other highlights were swimming with the dolphins at Bunbury and the caves at Margaret River. Also had great fun at Karri Valley, which was just lovely. This was the last holiday we took together (ok, minus our son, who was way too cool to join us on a family trip!) and there really was something for everyone. We have very fond memories of that holiday. :)

Anne: SIGH !!! yes we will have Daylight Savings .. will come into effect end Oct.. till end March next year ...
then sometime next year we get to vote whether or not we keep it !!
Lets hope sense prevails !!!
