Anne ... thanks for the Garbage Truck story. Seems kind of appropriate timing given what is going on here in Sudokuland.
While I was here, I spent a little time on Little Beach and took a stroll down the country lane in Denmark. Thanks

Oh, Anne, I just had to drop in to tell you how hard I laughed at your Sunday sex joke. I've got neighbours who are seniors and I can't wait to pass it along! What a great chuckle! Have a wonderful day.

Thanks, Anne, for your comments on my pix. The two you mentioned are among my favorites. The picture of the geese was pure luck. I almost missed it.
We were on the way to a steam engine train ride and had to stop for gas (petrol), and when I looked across the Connecticut River, I had to have that picture.
BTW, compared to you, Greg, Ian, Kate, vdV, Gannie Mo, and many others, I think I'm a new kid on the block.
Thanks again,
HalT

Hi Anne. Thank you so much for your noice birthday wishes. It is always such a pleasure to see that I've received a message from you, and always makes me happy. I'm really sorry it's taken me so long to acknowledge the wishes everyone sent to me, but that is certainly not a sign that they were anything less than a wongerful pleasure to receive. Thanks for taking the time to pop in on me and wish me all the best, Anne. My best wishes to you, and yours.

Thanks for the welcome. Looks like I will have to confess I am not as good a photographer as the rest of the family. Maybe we will have to visit WA to find some good subjects

Just stopping by to wish you a wonderful weekend, Anne, and I hope you carve out a lot of time to relax and regroup after what sounds like a crazy time at work. I'll drop off a bottle of one of my favourite local wines, "Organized Crime" Chardonnay Musque. Enjoy, and look after yourself.

Hi Anne - just to wish you a peaceful and relaxing weekend. Put work out of your head (if you can) and relax. A few snifters of Baileys should do the trick.

Hi Anne,
Thank you for the very nice note! And thank you for the opportunity to revisit your page. Your photos are more stunning than ever! I'm going to make a point of popping into your gallery more often.
I haven't really been away - it just seems that by the time I've done the puzzles now, the blizzard of conversation on 'easy' has usually gotten beyond my poor little brain's ability to catch up. But I do sit back every so often to marvel at the conversation and at what a wonderful thing this site is to bring all these great people together.
I hope all is well with you, Anne.

Hi Anne, thank you so much for the birthday wishes, I have had a great day made more special by so many greetings from near and far.
I keep meaning to visit your page to tell you that I think of you often - I have a family of magpies in my garden! They are very easy to observe and I am amazed at their sociability and the way they play with each other. The new baby has emerged and last year's adolescent is still with the family group, I love having them nearby!

Hi Anne! I'm slowly catching up on Sudoku after our long trip through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, & Cambodia. Thank you for your birthday greeting on Dec. 4. I DID have a wonderful day which began when we watched the sun rise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia - unforgettable! I have posted only one picture of our trip on my page so far, but I will try to whittle down the thousands of pictures we took to just our favorites & post them on Flickr as soon as I can find time. Meanwhile, Rob & I would like to wish you & your hubby a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. It will be 2009 before we know it!

Anne, I caught my error too late! I've been doing too much copying & pasting. I'm sorry I wrote "you & your hubby" instead of "you & your family" in that last comment. Please forgive me.

I couldn't let Christmas lip by with out calling on my old mate Anne. How are you doing?

Wishing you and your loved ones a wonderful Christmas this year

for your pictures and comments and friendship.

I guess that while we swelter in Darwin you will also be sweltering in SWA.

But whatever and where ever, may it be a lovely celebration for you.

Here’s the traditional

LEMON CORDIAL
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.25 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven) bottles

Mix it with gin and soda if you want an alcoholic drink.

May 2009 be a healthy, peaceful, joyful, hopeful, satisfying year for you
