Hi Anne - sorry it has taken me all day to read your message on the jigsaw this morning. I took the photo at the local Kelmscott Show which is just after the Royal Show around mid October in our local park. Always a lot quieter than the Royal although I love the crafts at the big show.

Oh, Anne - I came over to see your photos and fell in love with your landscapes. I am going to enjoy them each for at least a day or two. Then I noticed your welcome post. I love piroshki! I had a Russian/German-American friend who would bring piroshki in her sack lunches at school, and whose mom would serve them at parties. How do you make yours? Baked or fried? Filled with what? I've made them, too, but not for a long time.

Hi Anne, there's nothing rude about not having visited my page! But I'm glad you dropped by - it's always great to say hello to another regular Sudokuist.

The newer part of Lyon is much like any other big city, but the old section is just wonderful. We spent four days there and just loved it. We even picked up our first hire car there - having to drive out of the center of the second-largest city in France on the wrong side of the road with the steering wheel on the wrong side of the car was very interesting!

G'day Anne - I missed getting back to you on my birthday itself, which is probably as it should be, as it meant I wasn't on the computer for once and actually OUT somewhere! Thanks for all the nice messages, and the lovely card you sent also (those dang blue birds again!). I'll be in touch soon. And yes..I did have a nice coffee from my Dylan's mug, but sadly no W.A. choccies - they're long gone.
