No, no, no ... I do NOT have a photographic memory! I just used the "sudoku.com.au" aspect of Google at the top of the page. You can find anything with that! ... maybe I should have just left you thinking that I was that smart! But I DO have that 1/2" on you! I was 5'7" my entire life, but I have shrunken that 1/2" in my dotage. Thanks for the new page, Queenie! And quit working that brain so hard ... you're going to wear it out! XO

Actually, Anne, I have been gone most of the day ... doing just what I wanted on my birthday! As my husband and oldest grandson tube-fished on a nearby lake, I pushed my youngest grandson around the 5-mile path that encircles the lake. We all had lunch together, and then the fishermen headed back out. I had dinner with our son and his family tonight, and the whole family will get together next week ... in my honor, regardless of my menial stature as your chambermaid! I'd much rather be with family than party, so there you have it! This has been fun ... thank you!

I usually do my hard and tough sudoku over lunch at work, way after every one else has done it - better late than never, I guess. BTW love your photos that get posted regularly - my father grew up in WA and we took a few trips around when I was young - WA is such a beautiful and diverse state.

Hi Anne,
Glad you stopped in for a visit. Yes, it is all about the MINI. We(I, something about a second childhood I'm told)have anthropomorphized the poor li'l guy to where he thinks he should have his own place at the table. We love puting the top down, motoring off to who knows where and looking for the twisty roads. There is a pretty good sized MINI club in the area with a little over 40 members so there is always some excitement to be had.

I enjoy the birthday wishes. It's nice to hear from all of the people downunder. My children are taking me to Outback for dinner tonight. I'll be thinking of all of you.

Congratulations to your granddaughter, Anne! That is exciting. (I hope you get a piece of that chocolate!!!!)

Dinner with 2 of the Sydney living kiddos (and hubby), then the most marvellous Carole King and James Taylor concert, a birthday breakie with daughter 3, candles at a work tea, and dinner out with friends!!! Nah, Anne ... a "buzz cut" is real short hair like the little fellow in the picture on the Parents' Page. Boys here have always gotten their hair "buzzed" in the summer ... and now all of the men who are going bald are nearly shaving their heads! It's kind of frightening!

Hi Anne, we were told when we were at Lake Argyle that the lake held 17 times more water than Sydney Harbour. Shame they wont pipe it into the Tanami, would turn it into another 'Garden of Eden'

Thanks Anne for your message. We are both well. I am aware of the policy as it used to be but if I remember correctly the order used to be Sudoku then Puzzle. Lately I have become frustrated because about 50 photos I submitted last year didn't appear anywhere - so I submitted them again at the beginning of this year. One or two have dribbled through to the crosswords but the rest seem to have gone 'poof'. I don't mind greatly because I have almost given up photography for a while now. One day I will return with the enthusiasm I used to have.
