Anne, Thanks for the line. I get there most days. However it's often late in "the day" and most other Sudoku land people have signed off, or I just have anything to say.
Catch you later (as as my son says - just plane "laters").

Thanks for the tip Anne - we do things a bit backward on the east coast (or is it the other way around?) - probably something to do with getting up too early each morning while you get to sleep in.

Have I done it right this time?
Cheers - Peter
PS: I love your photos from all over Aus - have you recently done a trip around?

Anne. Thanks for your posts. I don't log in every day. When I do I manage to do all four most days. Posting, however, is another thing. You have some great looking countryside near your. I visited Auz about 10 years ago. Took 3 weeks and saw almost nothing of it. Wish I could afford to visit again, but...

Oh I have a belated thankyou for you. I was stuck as to what to get my grandson for his 8th birthday this year, then I remembered you saying that you had received a camera for your 8th. I unashamedly stole that idea. His birthday was back in March & he hasn't stopped using it. It is his favourite thing. What a wonderful gift.

Hi Anne. Been wondering how the football (soccer) thing went for Johnathan. I think you said the weather was bad that night? Did he enjoy it anyway?

Does Johnathan play offense or defense? Asa was disappointed at first when her coach put her on defense, but now that she's older she realizes that the girls on defense are just as important to the team as the girls who make the goals! We've been following closely the women's World Cup soccer matches in Germany. The game on Sun. between the USA & Brazil was one of the most exciting sporting events I have EVER seen. The US will play France in the semi-finals tomorrow.

Hello Anne,
I posted this - "Did you like Red Dog Anne? It has gotten mixed reviews over here, but he was much more iconic in your part of the country. However, it is on my 'to watch' list." - on the Medium page, but thought that you might not go back there to see it, so will put it here also.

I'm glad you liked it. The critics arre comparing it to Kenny and Strictly Ballroom, so this seems to be becoming the 'Ocker genre' Another great one we saw recently saw 'Charlie and Boots' with Paul Hogan which I thought was hilarious!
The photo of your's that I was referring to was the one on this page of Two Peoples Bay with it's wonderful water, but I have just looked at your Gallery and the red soil colour are magnificent too. We were lucky enough to go the Broken Hill area last year in September after the floods and the wildflowers were spectacular there also. Australia certainly is a wonderful country!!

Hi Anne
(I really have to think with name as my sister in law in Ann and she really gets upset if you spell it wrong. Her granddaughter is Ashleigh (Ashlee, Ashley) and that is another I always get wrong.
I’m sorry it has taken me so long to get back to you but I have been in Adelaide on a Dog Judging Assignment. The other judges were great fun with three from the USA (Maryland), a married couple from New Zealand and a gay couple (male) from Holland. I was the token Australian. The dinners were hilarious and I put on 2 kilos.
Fortunately this week I have been very strict and have lost 1.8k in 4 days.
Anyway thank you so much for your birthday wishes. They were really very much appreciated. After many years of trying I’ve finally convinced the family not to waste money on cards and presents of things I don’t really want and put their money towards a plane ticket to visit the old folks more often.
At my age, I’m just glad to have the birthday without having all the hoo haa as well.
Again thanks for your best wishes.
Regards, David

Hi Anne, just a quick drop in to say thanks. Loved your photos, especially the little church. Is it the one at upper eastern part of North Is. Had to stop after a while, ended up with a sore finger from scrolling. Regards Tony.

Anne, It was such a pleasant surprise to have you visit my page! Thank you for stopping by. I took a look through your photo gallery. I love all your gorgeous photos. They make me realize I need to go back to Australia. There is so much of it I haven't seen. I guess Australia is a bit like the U.S. - so diverse that you can spend a lifetime and not see all the wonders it has to offer.

Always great to have you stop by for a visit, Anne, and it's great to hear such wonderful things about New Zealand. We're pretty excited. Packing plenty of casual clothes and layers, since we've heard the weather can vary greatly every day. Let the adventure begin! Drop by anytime--I love hearing from you.

Gosh, Anne -- two visits in such a short time!! So good to see you again! It is nice that we share an affinity for the lucky number 13 - and that you were born on Friday the 13th, as my granddaughter was. Lots of people are born on the 13th, but I think really special ones are born on Friday the 13th!!!!
