That yummy chipotle raspberry sauce is from Texas, Jane. In case you didn't know that. I make it my personal mission to know and inform about Texas products, especially FOOD and/or BEVERAGE related products!It is from Fredericksburg, a charming, old (for Texas) German town that happens to be near where I live! I didn't know about the amazon thing though. I am going to look for some chocolate that my Australian friend told me about. Thanks for the tip!

Hi Jane! How was Neptune Beach? Hope you enjoyed your stay & had a nice relaxing anniversary celebration. MOre crummy weather at Wimbledon - darn. When do you think you'll try your hand (pun, pun!) at playing tennis again? Does your League go on during the summer or do you take a break?

Jane, Happy to hear you had a good time at Neptune Beach for your anniversary. I do miss being able to revisit some of my favorite places in Florida, but not enough to move back there.

Hi Jane - We went to Weko Beach in a small town called Bridgeman. I believe it is either a city or county park. It is always clean. They have a beach house there where you can use the bathrooms and changing rooms. On the upper level the Lions Club sells quick foods. We have found that it is never busy on a week day. It takes my sister 2 1/2 hours to get there. (When the traffic is light.) It takes me about 3 hours to get there, so it is a nice meeting place for both of us.

Jane, yes, I did see your note about the round robins at Jekyl Island. Thank you for the invite! We will just be back from a trip to PA on July 19 so the July 21 date wouldn't work for us, but the Aug. 18 date is very tempting. Is it all mixed doubles or men's women's, too? Is play on BOTH Sat. & Sun. or just one day? Please send me a few more details, & I'll see what Rob thinks of the idea. Hope you have a very enjoyable 4th of July. We're staying home this year. We hate dealing with the big crowds for watching fireworks. Your description of watching from an inflatable raft sounded great! What are your plans this year?

Jane, I leaped right on your suggestion of coming to play in the round robin on Aug. 18. Unfortunately, there must be something else going on at Jekyll Island that weekend. There are NO rooms available at either the old inn or Days Inn! Maybe I'll search a little more & see if there's anything available further out toward I-95. Got any other suggestions?

Jane, I am flattered that you went to all the trouble of sending me all those websites. You must really want us to come! I ran the idea by Rob, & he pointed out that I had told him I wanted to stay home & go nowhere in between our PA trip & our next trip to Fripp in Oct. He is right about that, & he also made a good point that it wouldn't be right to ask our daughter to take care of our dog & cats again so soon after our July trip. So maybe we should wait & come another time, possibly even on our way to Fripp. Do you know yet what weekend in Oct. that round robin will be? It would make sense for us to drive as far as Jekyll Island on a Friday morning, enjoy the beach or whatever that day, play tennis on Sat., then drive the rest of the way from there up to Fripp on Sunday. Our Oct. week is scheduled for Oct. 14-21. We'll just have to wait & see how the timing goes. Thank you so much for asking us to come. I really do want to sometime.

Jane, I see that you, too, must have gotten tired of signing in multiple times today. Guess it must be due to the new photo gallery changes Gath is making. I missed most of the Baghdatis-Djokovic match. We went to Sarasota this morning to check out some new tile for our pool.
Anyway, I wanted to tell you that MAYBE I can still convince Rob to make the trip to Jekyll Island in August. However, being the smart wife that I am, I will wait until after our July trip & mention it again at the beginning of August. What is the deadline for signing up & what time does play begin on the 18th? Also, what is the cost? It WOULD be fun. I'll just have to wait & see.

JANE, same thing was happening with my page. I had to sign back in, and even when still signed in, I lost things on my page. I had to update details about 2 times today when I lost it again. I also think it is GATH rebooting the system as he is working on it tht is causing the confusion. Glad you found your way back to your page!!

Yes, some of the oldie but goodie programs just will not work on newer computers. Mine is about 2 steps down from state of the art, not so old. Hubby keeps upgrading mine and he keeps me running smoothe most of the time. So when things happen to mine, I pretty much know it is not my computer, it has to be the site or AOL messing with me. I hope your computer keeps running a long long time!

Jane, I am still holding out some hope that maybe we can make it to Jekyll Island in Aug. A lot will depend on how Ebony does with our daughter while we are on our July trip. The fees for the round robin are certainly very low, but I'd also have to factor in the hotel, food, & gasoline costs. Overall,I've been very disappointed in Wimbledon this year. I know they couldn't help the weather problem, but I think they made poor decisions about playing catch up on the many delayed matches. It was especially bad that they chose not to play at all on the middle Sunday. That extra day would have helped a lot, & then maybe poor Djokovic wouldn't have been so exhausted today! I think he's a cutie & Ana Ivanovic, too. Hope we see more of them. I'm not a big fan of the Williams sisters. Venus isn't so bad, but I really dislike Serena & even more, Richard!! Last year Bert from BWI accused Keith of being a racist when he said her didn't like them. But honestly for me, it's not about race, it's because they come across as cocky & never seem to give any credit to other players when credit is due.

Jane: In Windows XP, holding down ALT while typing the numbers 130 produces the é. But you have to use the calculator, not the row of numbers at the top of the keyboard; if you're using a laptop, you may also have to hold down the Function (Fn) key and again, use the built-in calculator in the keyboard, not the row of numbers at the top.

And in Windows XP, if you click on Start, Programs, Accessories, System tools, Character Map, you'll get thousands of ALT+ # variations in every font. Click on the character, and the ALT+ instructions show up in the bottom right corner. These can be typed directly into email. You can also copy and paste the letter.

Thanks for the fridge poems - they made me chuckle. The tips above are great for sudoku (don't forget to highlight the 'e' first), but if you are using Word go to insert, then symbol and you'll find anything you need!

Hi Jane, was chuckling tonight about your efforts to turn the page. It's really very easy, but many haven't realised. There are always 40 comments per page, and the number of comments is written in blue above the puzzle. Wait until 39, 79, 119 etc. comments, then put in two and you get to finishe the page and start the next.

Thank you so much Jane. I miss him so much! It is unreal how attached to our pets we become. Rocko stopped being a pet and became part of the family the moment I picked up from my daughter's arms that first day.

Jane, I am not a big beer drinker but my husband has had Heinekin Light. He said he would buy it again. I much prefer vodka or tequila as a mixed drink, I don't do shots that often. The only beer I truly like is Corona with a peice of lime stuck in the bottle.

Jane, the only red I really like is Merlot. I have not had a mojito yet but need to try one soon. My faves are margaritas and cosmopolitans. The only time I really liked beer was as a little kid stealing sips of my dad's when my mom's back was turned. I started doing that when I was about 5 or 6. I found out years later that she always knew, she just pretended not to see. Maybe since I always drank it, it was never a big deal to drink when I turned legal. I was always the designated driver. Tell your husband to save me a mojito.

Hi Again Jane,I didn't have a book club type of page in mind when I spoke about it....truth fully, I just wanted a place where readers could exchange thoughts abouts any books they had read and make recommendations to others...Just a place to learn, become intrigued with a title, etc. I liked Billy's idea of incorporating a varity of arts......theater, concerts and books...so that seems to be going to happen shortly...I'm looking forward to that. As for the book club...I'm in two now...with other choices on the side...don't know how much these old eyes will stand up for...but I'm game for that to if and when the time comes.

Hi Jane, and thanks for your response. Kelly is a stage actor, doing mostly musical theatre as she is a singer as well. She also does some production work in theatre. She has done some film (a few commercials and a very poor B movie that never hit the theatres) but her real love is stage.
