G'day Suzy! I'm slowly catching up on Sudoku after our long trip through Thailand, Laos, Vietnam, & Cambodia. Thank you for your birthday greeting on Dec. 4. I DID have a wonderful day which began when we watched the sun rise at Angkor Wat in Cambodia - unforgettable! I have posted only one picture of our trip on my page so far, but I will try to whittle down the thousands of pictures we took to just our favorites & post them on Flickr as soon as I can find time. Meanwhile, Rob & I would like to wish you a very Merry Christmas & Happy New Year. It will be 2009 before we know it!

Suzy, Ebob being shattered is a good thing. If she couldn't care less, than there'd be trouble. She still did better than my boy, but we're in the same place on this one. How do you convince a teenager just how important it is to get the best results they're capable of? I know though that there are a LOT of students with much worse work habits and results than our two. Many kids their age are into all sort of vices as well. We're still doing OK!!! We can compare notes during the year, but for me getting the teachers' ears early in the piece and expecting to be advised straight away if there's problems will be the way to go. I've run out of other ideas!!!

Ally, I think you look wonderful singing and am glad you put on a good perfomance. I am proud of you for ignoring the two girls and continuing the perfomance. Way to go!!!!!

Can we use msn or something, and while you sit down with Ebob every afternoon, S2 can join in and learn from you as well? His teacher said exactly the same thing, he doesn't work well when his good mate is near him. It really is like nailing jelly to a tree!
