Yep, seems we do like to worry. VICI requested my phone number and permission to phone on Tuesday night. I will ask her to pass on what is going on if I am not up and at the puter already, would that work? I could be certain Vici would let all know if I asked her to do that.

Suzy - for me, math puzzles are fun whether they have to be worked "hard" or "easy". Of course, even my students think I am a bit weird. I did work it using matrices, which I love to play with, and I had a fancy calculator to do it with also. I would have probably used a more "by hand" method, but I really do have a ton of papers to be graded.

Hey Sizzling Suzy! My weekend can only get better. Spent the morning driving the pilot vehicle to move all our gear, then on to house cleaning and washing. Still, we're off to a bbq tonight, so will be good to put the feet up! Hope yours is fun!

Hello, Suzy!
I hope you found some information about the Stack and Whack technique. For the most fun, choose a fabric that has bright and distinct designs. The entire quilt, except for borders and background, is made of ONE fabric. The book we used in class was Magic Stack-N-Whack Quilts by Bethany Reynolds. The project I made involves cutting eight identical squares in half to yield two blocks. You'll make eight layers of fabric exactly stacked--use pins to mark a corner or dot in the fabric to line up the layers. You will need to make sure all the blocks' points go in the same direction. The quilt I made used only five of the blocks because I needed to finish quickly and get it on display for a quilt store. Good luck. Be sure to let me know when you post the photo of your quilt!

AhhhShucks Maam, my "wonderful attitude" is thanks to some mighty fine pain pills and not having to do anything but recover from the surgery. Hubby did not come and keep house clean for me, but he never complained about the mess, even when he had to wash his soup bowl fore he come eat soup hehehe. He would tiptoe about if he thought I might be napping, would bring me what I asked for, all in all a pretty good joe.
Our problem seems to be , he treats me like he wants to be treated when sick and i treat him the way I want to be treated. He wants to crawl in a hole, covers over his head and live or die, but just leave me alone. Maybe his Mom was like Gail, they get better if you leave them alone.
I want someone to see that I have creature comforts, fluffed pillows, smothed sheets, fresh water and my meds at bedside, a nice bowl of soup brought on a tray with a rose in the bud vase. Comfort food, Ice cream, I always got ice cream when I was sick as a child. TOTAL OPPOSITES, but I still love him!
Oh, he did bring me a half gallon of ice cream and ginger snaps and animal crackers, stopped and got me colas with cafien when I started the spinal headache. Cafien works too.

Thank you for commiserating with me. sniff sniff. Well the trip is delayed because I still have enough for air fare, just not for hotels and eating. I guess I could sleep on the beach!

Suzy for a while I toyed around the idea of sleeping on the beach and eating coconuts and bananas but the thought of doing that for a whole week didn't appeal to me! Oh well maybe next year. . .

Hi Suzy. I was bored today and Easy was sooooo dead that I thought I'd check SA. I'm wondering if it's last week's animosity that has kept people from posting. Maybe I'll check SA tomorrow, but then I never know when I'm working. The site that has been such a great escape for me is dying I feel.

for your kind words about Scrap.
I have had to do this many times over the years, but it doesn't really make it any easier. I have loved all my furry babies, their love is unconditional.
In the end, I think it is the kindest thing we can give them, peace from pain.
