Thanks for your comments Suzy. I have met a few people now. There were 11 of us at Gail's place, and 6(including Sharon and myself ) at the Sydney meet. The first person I met was Linda from Pioneer, USA.
So that is 15 not including Sharon my daughter.
We will get there one day!!!

G'day Suzy! We are in a semi-remote area in the Sierra Nevada mountains of CA and just got DSL here less than a year ago. We had it when we lived in Monterey and were spoiled - it was so hard to go back to dial-up. I know a minute amount of Welsh. There is an attempt at pronouncing cwrw on the "Medium" page. I know a few words from staying with Welsh families several times, but have a LOT to learn! (I have actually gotten an interesting nickname from one of my Welsh mispronunciations!)It is a beautiful language when spoken correctly.

The moniker is shosho, although the shoshu is a Japanese rice vodka. Well close it's really shochu (but the former pronunciation is indicative of already having too much of this). But the lethal part of this drink is that there is barely any taste, hardly any alcohol taste, so it's easy to accidentally have too much of this. I know! Any way where was I oh yes, got plenty of stories of him in school including a wily squirrel. for visiting!
