I got a note from Sue/OK and she had been going through the jigsaw archives and on 22 Sept on the hard jigsaw there is now the photo of the two of us at the fountain at Olympic Park. I think you must have submitted it . Makes a great jigsaw!!!

Hi Linda, I see June beat me to telling about the archives. I was looking for some (alot) of my pictures and saw this one of you and June. Remembered seeing it on her page, she said it was yours. If you submitted anyothers around the same time they are most likey in the archives. It is such a shame no one ever got to see them. I have resubmitted a few of mine will see what happens.

Hi Linda! I remembered seeing pictures of your safari in Africa a couple years ago, & have come to ask you more about it. Rob & I had booked a trip to China in May, but cancelled it for several reasons, one of which was that the itinerary included three days in Lhasa, Tibet where the violent protests have been going on!! Now we are looking at going to Africa later this year instead, but would like to find someone who could recommend a good tour group. Could you please let me know with whom you arranged your trip & if you were satisfied with it? Also, I think you had posted some of your photos on a travel blog type website - was it maybe Kodak or something like that? We'd appreciate any information or advice you could give us. Thank you.

Linda - are the fires affecting you? I have friends that live in Paradise. Relatives in Grass Valley (who previously lived in Modoc Co. & then Trinity Co.). So many beautiful areas of Calif are being burned like Big Sur & Goleta/Refugio. The fire in the Siskiyou's has so far stayed in California - we had smoke for several days, but blue skies now. I would hate to have this heat and smoke. Hope all is well with you.

Morning Linda...how smoky is it in your neck of the woods. It has been unreal here in GV...way hotter than normal (104) and so smoky we can't open the windows to cool down the house with fresh air in the evenings. I am grateful we are not facing the fires ourselves. My husband and I are retired firefighters and have had our fill of eating smoke! Well, nice to meet a neighbor. Praying for a heavy rain across the state.

We worked in Monterey (City)...glad I'm not out on any of these wildland incidents - definitely the hardest kind of fire fighting...give me a structure fire anyday! Would love a rain shower...keeping my fingers crossed for fresh air soon. Have a great day.
