Hi Linda! Welcome back from your travels & What a busy month you have had! I was excited to hear that you went to Antarctica! I hope you can find time to tell me some details sometime - were you happy with your tour company (cruise?), weather, time of year, etc. One of my travel goals is to make it to all seven continents before I die. I only have two left to go - Africa & Antarctica. Anyway, as you well know, it's wonderful to see the world, but it's also great to come home again. Hope you get back to normal soon & have a very in 2009.

Just checked out your photos from your travels your a very lucky lady and I am envious it must have been a wonderful trip to remember judging by the photos, if you have time maybe you could tell me a little about it, cheers for now.

Hi Linda! Rob & I are at our beach house in SC this week where we have only a dial up connection on Rob's laptop. Consequently, I have not spent much time on the computer, but I was VERY happy to notice today that you have posted some of your Antarctica photos. I took a quick peek & was wowed!! Oh so beautiful! Lucky you making it to all 7 continents already. I still have 2 more to go. Will spend more time studying your pics when I get home, & will have more questions to ask about your cruise details. Linda, I loved your photos, particularly those of Antarctica. The lead photo (on Flickr) is, in my humble opinion, an outstanding example of the photographer's art - and from someone who recognises a lenticular cloud too!

Each day gets a little easier. While I think of her every day (I see her every time I open my page!), there are times when there is no sadness.
There are still times when I go to ring her to ask a question, that is when my heart gives a little lurch, but I know she taught me enough in life to give me all the answers I need.

Hey Linda! Enjoying the spring weather? I could use some more rain - seems like it is heating up too soon.
I wanted to extend an invitation to you for a Sudoku-meet we are having in SF in a couple of weeks. Katitude from Oz will be in town and we are meeting at Butterfly restaurant on Pier 33 for lunch at 11:30 on Wednesday 5/27. Keith will be there, but so far it is a rather small gathering. Thank You for your very kind words. I'm having good days and some unbearable days. I've just gotten home from a Baptism for a great nephew. My son and his wife were there with their one year old son .. and today is my son's birthday. My heart breaks for him. I thank God for their little one, just holding him is healing.

Hi Linda, I read your tags and had to stop in for a visit. Your pictures of Anartica are absolutley fabulous! I could feel the cold through them. I hope one day to take an Alaskan cruise as I have longed to see an iceberg ever since the Titanic movie came out. It is on my bucket list of things to do. I don't mean to pry, but I wanted to ask, does your work allow you to travel or do you so on your own? It is okay if you do not want to respond. Thanks for the greetings. I'm mostly only on the jigsaw puzzle page. I do sudoko in the newspaper and in some puzzle books but not on the web.

Where is Pioneer? Are you from Oz or the US or somewhere else?

I'm a lifelong Californian. Moved up north to go to college and loved it so much I stayed. Love San Francisco, but live in the 'burbs.

I am envious. It looks like you are quite a traveler. And take great pictures too. I hope to travel but have to get my husband to quit working.
