Greg - Are you familiar with Natalie McMasters?

She is from Cape Breton NS & put on a great show. Have seen her twice. This video reminds me of her.

She has been to Britt twice.

The first time was about 5 years ago - she had just won a Juno (?) in Canada. It was billed as a Celtic night with Mary Black the "star" performer. My Mom came up to see Mary Black. That night they had 3 performances - the first was a local who is an Irish Story teller - excellent, I may add. Followed by Natalie McMasters - who brought the house down. I felt sorry for Mary Black who had to go on after her. Natalie's records were not on sale in the US at that time, she sold $4,000 in CDs that night. She came back a year or so later as the headliner.

My Mom flew back the next morning to Burbank & Natalie and her group were on the flight - in Burbank waiting for their luggage - Mom let her know how much she enjoyed her fiddlin' step dance. Natalie was appearing that evening at the Hollywood Bowl.

I have an autographed CD. I did not know she has gone into the blues and jazz.

Hi CG
thanks for the message, just a bit slow getting back to answer them though. Dad is home okay and we go to Melbourne to the specialist for some tests on the 10th and not sure what else they are doing. they believe he needs a heart valve replaced. mum has had the virus quite bad but is recovering now. the boys and graeme are also coming good I think, but the darn virus keeps coming back. not a lot of time for extra sudoku so hence I have not been around too much. will catch up again soon. hope you are fit and well.
cheers

CG - we are already in our second week with kids, third week total. I had to take today off for a doctor's appointment. I am going to Austin (2 hours away) to visit with the surgeon that removed my skin cancer. Hopefully to hear that he wants to just see me annually from now on!
I will take a short nap and then hit the road.
Thanks for the note.

Greg Thanks for your help with the code. Some things are so easy when you have a friend to explain them. I added Josh Turner song "Me and God" to the sight. My wife and I went to see him when he was in the Pittsburgh, Pa area.

Greg Thanks for the compliment on my music. I love country music, I think it speaks back to your roots. I especially like ballads. My favorite is Brooks and Dunn's "Believe. I may post it in a couple of weeks.

Hi Greg. yes the Sculpture by the Sea is a yearly event. It's been going since sometime in the 1990's. I first went in 2002 & have only missed once since then (2006). http://www.sculpturebythesea.com/html/sxsbondi.php this website will give you some more information if you want. And this next one will give you access to some of the artist etc if you want to drown yourself with information!!!

Goodevening Canuk Greg--
I am so happy you visited my page and you asked questions so I feel I can do the same.

But first, Girlie-girl or just girl real name is Kendall. We like to keep things simple here so my husband is Man, I am Woman and then the Girl. We also have had Dog, Cat, Puppy, BillyBillyBilly Goat, and a lot of others, though I do not think we have had a Kitty.
Second, I keep my room clean because it uploads faster. I am still in the dark ages of dial up and it takes forever at times for a room that I visit to open up. I have met some dear people on this site and they have left me wonderful messages. And they have time to admire my favorite subject--Girlie-girl.

I hope that answers your questions--feel free to ask me anything.

Now for the question that I have had about you. Canuk is that a title, name or what? I have noticed that some just call you Greg at times.

Also, I have enjoyed your comments on this site and in the jigsaw puzzles.
Have a great day.

Greg, I haven't told you that Robbie Williams (who you've said before you haven't heard of) and Nicole Kidman (who I think you just may have heard of!!) sing this duet and I have it on video. I think they do as good a job if not better than Frank Sinatra and Nancy.

Hey Greg, Thanks for the visit and words of support. Things have been really hectic between my grandmothers illness and death and also at work so I'm really glad to have the month of August behind me. As things continue to settle down I look forward to getting back to sudokuland on a more regular basis again. Thanks again Greg, take care.

G'day Greg, What a nice bloke you are to send that message. I'm happy to let you know I'm smiling again after 9 days of very sad anniversaries and I'm still stunned by the goodwill of all my fellow Sudokuists. It was nice of you to look up "Deni" on Google and I have just done the same for Ottawa. Now there's a place I would love to go to. Maybe....one day....if I win Lotto....
I'm going to make it a point from now on to look up the tourist sites of other SAs' towns and do a bit of armchair travelling. Cheers, Kate

Hi, Canuk Greg! I see you stopped by my page while I was away. I'm sorry I missed you! I always enjoy your comments on Easy & your you-tubes (when I get a chance). This site is so welcoming, and thankfully, international! It's too bad the leaders of countries can get along as well as we do! Anyway, have a great day, and I hope you enjoy these fresh cinnamon rolls!

Hey Greg, I enjoy different music genres, although Pavarotti with his clasical opera voice is just fantastic, I also enjoy the husky pop voice of Brian Adams. Anyway, I actually changed my utube and would like to hear your comment on this one. Totally different again! Cheers

Hello Greg - Thanks for your visit. I always enjoy hearing from you.

I am still trying to "cath-up" here at home. (It is hard to get my housework finished because I like to Fiddle around.) I have been trying to practice the Fiddle everyday. Yesterday I bought a resonator guitar. I want to learn how to play a Dobro. I figured this way I will have a guitar and dobro. I thought it would be an easy instrument to "pick-up", but I think I will need some instruction on it.

It has been so chilly here the last couple of days! It was about 8 (C) when we woke up yesterday, but a little warmer today.

My husband went up to Mackinaw City yesterday for a motorcycle ride with a buddy. They have already reached the freezing point up there! He came home with some delicious smoked fish and fish sausage. Yummy!

Thanks for thinking of me. I hope you have a great day! Please come back for a visit anytime. The door is always open.
