Hello Wagdy - I just wanted you to know that you crossed my mind a few weeks ago. We met a man who owns "Ciro's Pizza" here in Virginia and he is from Egypt! He has delicious food and is a very nice fellow. Have a great day, Wagdy!!!

Hello Wagdy, I also thought of you the other day and wondered how your visit with your family is going. Halloween is a bit hard to explain. since you are visiting in the U.S. this year I am sure you will see it first hand. It seems to be more about the children going house to house for candy. Beggars Night. But adults seem to enjoy dressing up also. Party time. It was an old Druid pagan ritual day/ night. I have said, "Halloween" the one pagan holiday not even the Catholic church could turn into a Christian Holy-Day. I do hope you are enjoying your visit here in the U.S. I go to Australia soon to visit my son't family. It is really hard to fit into a different culture.. and those Australians speak English! I still have a hard time.

Hello Wagdy. I enjoyed looking through your latest pictures. Kevin has grown up so fast. And I never knew he has a baby brother now! It's great that you are having another nice visit in California with your family. Hope you & your wife will stock up on hugs & kisses from those cute little grandsons.

Thank you for the Christmas and New Years wishes.
I hope your time here in the States has been grand. When do you return to your homeland? I will go to visit my son and family in AU. in January. It is a long trip but the memories of the grandchildren are calling me to come. Take it easy on the cookies and candy, they will put lumps in your curves.

Thank you very much for your Christmas Message Wadgy. May I wish the same to you and your family.
We're having some of our family visit over the Christmas weekend and then after they leave a further group will arrive for New Year. We will be busy.
Because of my diet, we are breaking away from a traditional dinner to having a seafood smorgasbord with cold salads. Hope it will be a warm day so we can enjoy it.
Best wish for 2011.
Regards
David.

Wagdy - Christianity is even under attack in this country. The schools have been stripped of our Christian Heritage. Even in touring the US Supreme Court they (our government) now refer to depictions of the 10 Commandments (double tablets with 10 Roman Numerals) as the Bill of Rights (10 Amendments to the Constitution). The only depiction that is admitted to be the 10 Commandments is a frieze Moses (a giver of law) holding a tablet with Hebrew lettering. Even the depiction on the outside portico with "a giver of law" holding blank tablets (note from the distance anyone would be seeing this carving on the portico - any text inscribed on them would not be seen - so they will not admit that it is the 10 Commandments. Only 25 years ago the same these beautiful carvings were proudly presented as Moses & the 10 Commandments. Our country is denying our heritage....and corruption abounds when there is no right or wrong. So as I pray for Christians in Egypt and else where, I also pray for this country to wake up and return to God.

Note - I did not say the Christian God or even the God of Abraham. All religions have moral codes & values. As we give over the education of our children to the government schools that do not recognize the heritage of America, a moral code and groundingis lost. I pray for this country that it rediscovers our foundational values. I hope you will also pray for our country where your grand-children are being raised. Let them not fall into the trap of not being responsible for what they do.

Wagdy, my prayers go out to the Christians in Egypt that they and their places of worship will no longer be targets for hatred. It just breaks my heart when this type of intolerance happens.

Wagdy when we were taught of Egypt in school we were led to believe it was a nice safe place and I am shocked to hear of your troubles. SHOCKED AND DISGUSTED. We also have religious troubles in Australia. So sad.

I am always so sorry to hear of religious intolerance. Most religions teach the love of God towards mankind, but practice seems to be another story. I'll never understand why such hatred happens. Prayers for the families who lost their loved ones and for the devestated congregation.
