Hi Heidi, we are going on a tour with OAT (Overseas Adventure Travel) called "Route of the Maya". It includes Panama, El Salvador, Honduras, Guatemala and Belize. I have always been fascinated with the Mayan culture. We like this particular tour company because there are never more than 16 in a group.
However, I am not happy with the inoculations I got today. Yellow fever, hepatitis A, and tetanus. I am having a slight problem lifting my arms. lol

So you actually had a mild case of lockjaw???? Wow!
You poor thing! It seems if something is going to happen, it is going to happen to you! How you keep as active as you do is beyond me. I would be a quivering mass huddled in my bed!
We stayed at the office for 45 minutes after the shots. My arms feel a little achy, but not too bad.

Heidi, I'm glad you enjoyed the photos. Looking through my stash I tried to choose interesting ones - we seem to have thousands!
I guess I should have made a comment on the photo of "old Jack" that it was taken shortly before he went to doggy heaven. He had lymphoma and life just became a struggle for him - I cried like a baby, but it had to be done. I made sure we had plenty of nice photos of him, and we had a little ceremony scattering his ashes around the garden - everybody cried like babies. He was always getting under my feet, tripping me up, snatching food out of people's hands (boy that dog could jump!) - now I look at his photos and get all teary. But that's the way it goes when you have a pet!

Thank you for the birthday greeting. I spent a quiet day at home and hubby and the kids went and got take out for dinner.

Good heaven's, girl! I came by to wish you Happy New Year and find you've knocked out a tooth! How in the world did you do that? Kicked by a horse? Cow? Sheep? Couldn't have been a dog or a peacock or a fish....
