Have you tried the new 'messages' feature. Can send private message from anyone's page, goes to thier e-mail, or they check for messages at thier IN BOX. Mine go to my e-mail, cause my posts to my page go there. Neat feture! Now no problems eachanging e-mail!

Prior notice for the arrival of our most esteemed Jazzy wazzy from way over there, is coming over here…
So brekky it shall be at the CBH (Cottesloe Beach Hotel- obviously at Cott Beach, obviously a(n) hotel (but an old one)).
On Saturday, August 18th at 9.30am (to allow for a sleep-in).
Dresscode is dead cash (hard sounding ‘sh’) but tiara’s are compulsory...unless you’re a bloke – you’re exempt if you have a note from your mum/wife (or some lollies for me).
If you would like to join us please let me know on my page as I shall need numbers to confirm the booking.
Forewarning: this message will be posted several times over the next few weeks, if it gets really annoying – never mind.

Hi Lynda, I'd dropped in on Anne (Albany) this afternoon & saw your avatar so I dropped in on you too! I checked out your photos & was about to say hello when the phone rang..........several hours later, I'm back! Great pictures. One question - who mows your lawn? Looks like someone's been down on hands & knees with a pair of nail clippers!! For being so impertinant I've left you a bunch of pansies & some lavender from my (lawnless garden!) as well as some homemade calamondin (relative of the cumquat) marmalade. Lovely to meet you. Thanks for letting me visit.

Sorry I didn't get back yesterday & say thanks for the scrumptious pumpkin fruit cake, my husband decided to work from home so I couldn't get near the computer! we went out for impromptu drinks celebrating the safe arrival of friends 2nd grandchild so I was too tired in the evening! My husband hate mowing so the only grass we have here is the nature strip. When he has time it's going to mulched & planted over too! The calamondin looks just like the cumquat, but they are a little sweeter & when really ripe you can eat them. I tried one of that batch but it was still too sour. I'll try another one again later!

Yes she probably would have for more than just having given birth! She spent more time in hospital than at home during the pregnancy for various reasons. So everyone at the drinks was actually celebrating more than the birth. We were so pleased everything was alright! Yes you can eat the skins & there are some seeds, but not a lot. Just enough to soak & give some extra setting power to the marmalade. The calamondin seems to have some fruit on it all year (it has the last couple, since we got it!), although a lot more at the moment.

Lynda - thanks for your concern about my whereabouts. No I am not on holiday. I was born in Yorkshire but now I live in East Sussex. I am 'from Yorkshire' in the same sense as it might be said I am 'from an egg'. I haven't posted so much last couple of days because my back is sore. You room mis comfy and I am leaving some nice cushions for you.

Gday Lynda, I was just 'passing' so I thought I'd drop in. How have you been keeping? I hope this note finds you and yours well.
We are all well here, touch wood! With the spurts of hot/cold weather changes, we had a batch of colds go through the house a few weeks back, but as of this second, all is well!
All set for Christmas? I have only just let that word slip into my vocab this week, I'm not even sure what we're doing. Hopefully a quiet(?) family day with just us and the four kids, plus their extras!

Lynda, for the birthday wishes. We've been sweltering in muggy weather for the last few days, but where I live there is now a nice sea breeze lifting the curtains. Hope you and your loved ones are well and happy.
