Oh, Nal! I'm SO sorry to hear about Rocko's fracture! I hope all will be well! Is he over-nighting at the animal hospital? We will all be thinking of him and you and saying some prayers for the best.

oh Nal,it brakes my heart to see you and Rocko in such pain and to have to be apart. I'm sure they will do everything to fix him and make him pain free.Take care , you and Rocko will be in my prayers

Hi Nal. I have only just read your comment about Rocko and I am so sad to think that something like that can happen when he was there for his toenails to be clipped. Very careless by the vet I would say. I hope he is back with you soon and give him lots of love.

PS. I hate to ask you at a time like this but I have put frames around two of my photos on flickr and would really appreciate your comments. I had a look at what you do and thought mine might look a tad better with frames. Please let me know when you can.

Thanks for you comments Nal. I had to play around with the programs I had. One was on the computer and one I had bought to do cards and other things. Hadn't really used them for photos before. Thanks for the inspiration.

I love the Everglades, but don't go out there in summer cause of the skeeters and the heat, no shade out there! Now that I have figured out how to use Gath's photo uploader, I will be adding photos of lots of critters and other things, I have about 5900 digital photos to look through to choose the best ones!

Nal - I know how much Rocko must mean to you - he looks like a Gentle Giant - much as my Chelsea was 165# of total unadulterated love. My prayers are with both of you. It is so hard when you know they don't understand what is happening. They do understand the love they get from us.

A little over three weeks and then they get out the hacksaw on my knee and put in a new one. I'm counting down the days till I can run up the stairs again. At least I live in a country where things like this are possible. So hope Rocko is running aorund before I am!

Thank you so much for the updates on your page. Please don't feel you have to return the visit, we all know you have other things on your mind. When I read the first update I was in tears because he really has become sort of a mascot for the site!

Thank you for the updates on Rocko. You will be surprised at how quickly Rocko become used to having three legs. Animals adapt much quicker than their humans. Lots of love and best wishes to both of you.

Hi Nal, Thank you for keeping us posted on Rocko and his progress. I'm glad that he is looking a little better. He is lucky to have such a loving mom like you. My prayers and thoughts continue to go out to Rocko and your family. I will be praying on Thursday that he handles his chemo treatment well. And after he recovers from his surgery, he will soon be up and running and playing around on 3 legs like he was born that way. There was a dog on TV last week who has only 2 back legs and he was walking (well hopping) in an upright position, even up stairs. I have given my dogs, Tye and Angel, extra buscuits today and they want you to give Rocko special hugs from them, too. Good luck on Thurs.
