Hi Grannie Mo, and it seems many of us are teary today. I wish there was more we could do as well, but if nothing else, we can at least hope that Nal knows she's got friends everywhere who care. I've lost three precious pets and once in awhile, I still get a lump in my throat. And thankfully, there are enough of us around who realize what an absolute joy it is to have a pet in our lives. Bless you.

I just discovered the video you posted of the mean old lady. I can add her to my collection of people I want to be like, including Walter Matthau, when I grow up. And Victoria Hart reminds me of either June Christy or Alice Faye, can't remember which. I'd have to hear them once again. I love her singing style. Takes me back to when.

GrannieMo, please forgive me for not leaving my calling card when I so briefly popped in last time. I just want to warn you, you better move over because I want to live where you live! Thank you so much for the tour through France, Spain and parts of Australia that I have yet to see. I went to Tassie a long time ago but WA is definitely on my to-do list.
I have brought you a bottle of bubbly, a plate of nibblies and an invitation to drop in to my page anytime. Take a look around the garden, find a seat in the sun and meet my family. Love to see you there.

GrannieMo...I miss you...Your comments are to far and in between...you must be having a blast somewhere! Enjoy, but keep me posted. I expect to be in your part of the world around April of next year....if all goes as planned. Will let you know...and no, Sully won't be with me....this will be a ladies only holiday...my sister, niece and possibly a cousin...I'm looking forward to it.

You....You....You touched him? HE spoke to you? You gazed into his eyes? I can brag I know someone that has touched HIM!
- and you can talk?
...and you let him go? I would have attached myself to his ankles and they would have had to pry me off with fire. AND...I would still be mumbling like an idiot!

Hi GrannieMo,
Thanks for the Bali thoughts. There is so much sadness and craziness in our world today. It is interesting that you recognise it too - I guess I often think of it as a very personal Australian tragedy when so many Aussies died and we (Aussies) were so involved in the relief efforts that I overlook that fact that many other nationalities lost dear ones too. Oh for a gentler and more caring world where people don't feel they have to push their agendas with violence. I am sure all the Gods - of whichever religion - are loving and caring and shake their heads at the hatred being unleashed in their names.
After all that, I hope the sun shines for you and that you are surrounded by people who love you!

Hi GMo. Lovely tribute and a beautiful memorial. There seems to be so much tragedy around the world, so much hatred. It can be so discouraging. But we must remember that there is also love and kindness. Thank you for sharing...

That's great news about the widdle tiddy tats. As you said, shame they couldn't be together but they will get over that soon. It is just wongerful that you could find homes for them so quickly. It would be lovely to have an update about them when they have settled in. Well done, kudos to you. Saving those kittens will bring you good karma.

Hi GrannieMo. I don't know anymore than that Ian is/was in hospital. I wasn't here over the weekend so I was doing the weekend puzzles when I came across a message from his wife Anne. He been having some funny heart beats. She didn't seem distressed. I'm going to leave a note on his page & she might see it & answer!
