 Welcome to my page

Strike up a conversation, sit and stay a spell.

Leave me a post, present, prayer, poem or puzzle (or something that doesn't start with "p"). LOL

Take away a thought, a laugh or a bite to eat.

(I recommend the plum pierogi or the goats milk cheese).

Hi Plum, I see by your post on easy that you are back online, rejoicing with you! Did you end up getting a Facebook page in the end? If you did, would love to be added as your friend, but don't know how to find you. If you look for me, my profile photo is one of the shocking pics of me in my sudoku gallery!

Hello Plum, no credit to be had. I found the thought and passed it on. Most of them, as I am sure you are aware, are others thoughts. I'm constantly trawling the sites for them. Have I got a life?...no probably not. Nice to see you back on the site. I did enjoy your Jane Austin reviews, first time for ages there was something interesting and enjoyable on the pages x Take care x

Oh Plum, am I getting that old??? But getting there with friends makes the adventure "funner"!!! And doing mischievously even better! The yerba mate is helping! Teas are a main stay in my day! A quick picker upper to ahhhh, relaxing! Having been treating my colleagues as well. Get them addicted too!

Hi Plum - my deepest apologies for leaving you out of my list in that post to Ian. I quickly ran through the posts to see who was the most recent new member - your name was amongst the the list - in my head (why don't I learn to write things down?) and when I typed the post, I had a feeling I had missed someone and it was our Plum. My apologies, dear, definately not intentional, but these are the things that can alienate people and make them feel left out.

Plum, yes, I do recall our conversations about college. It is so hard for me and my daughter to believe that she has already finished her first year. She has changed her major from physical therapy to art education and she is absolutely loving it - it is so, so wonderful to see her so happy. I never saw my daughter as an artist, but the projects that she has done, well I am completely amazed. What another side of this complex young lady. And, our youngest, well she is in complete denial about graduating from high school next year. She does not talk about visiting any schools or anything like that. I am hoping that she will open up once school is over which is the end of this week. I am very happy for your daughter. Sounds like she is ready to mark her mark on our world. God knows she has already made her mark on your world! :)

My grandmother was Janet Selkirk and the family tradition was that we were descended fron AS. I've never really been interested in family geneology so I don't know whether this means a direct descendent or whether from a brother or other relation of AS
I seriously doubt that the artifact is genuine as it would now be over 300 years old. I've really lost touch with all my mother's relatives. I'll give to my kids and they can follow it up.

You're tagged! Glinda's started that game.
Rules: Tagged!!!

Here are the rules:

(1) Each player starts with 5 random facts/habits about themselves.
(2). You have 24 hours in which to do this
(3) At the end of your Post, you need to choose 2 people to get tagged and list their names.
(4) You must then let these people know they have been tagged, either posting on their page or by private message.

Try and not “Tag” anyone that has already been tagged.

Hope this isn't the upteenth time you've been tagged

Hi Plum! Wrote to Jamie of my order and how delighted I was. But today I'm going to try it iced. After 3 weeks in the south (NC) I've developed a taste for iced tea! You were right those bags are humongous, it's going to take me quite a while to go through them! I put two in the freezer where I put my other teas. Will that be ok for them?

Howdy, Plum! Just want you to know I’m going to be in Grand Junction (near South Haven), Michigan from Sunday, September 13 through Wednesday morning, September 16. Would love to get together with as many of you Michiganders as possible while I’m there. Maybe lunch on Monday or Tuesday? I’ll have a car, so we could pick a central location. Let me know what you think! (I’m also sending this to Shiela and Debby. Please let me know if I’m missing anyone!) ♥Jane

Hi Plum.... I'm gonna see if I can get the time to come. Michigan is a lot closer than Florida. I'd love to spend more time with Jane and Debby, and make new friends. Consider me a slight possible.

Thanks Plum - that's actually not a bad price Australia to US (return, I presume), not that I'd really be able to come (YET) but I suppose it was on one of those budget, take-your-life-in your-hands airlines. Hope the gathering or JaneJam goes well for you all.

Hi Plum,

I posted this comment in today's puzzle but just realised you might not go back to read later comments.

"You can see the caption again by clicking on the link just above the puzzle called "Play this pic as a Jigsaw". Then look at the thumbnail pic in the left column - the caption is right underneath it."

Hi, Plum! I saw your note on "easy" this morning and am just now getting around to answering. I've been running around all over the place trying to get the household back in order!!! A broken water main in the neighborhood and a flat tire on my bicycle didn't help matters! Anyway, I just want to say how much I enjoyed our gathering at Clara's in Battle Creek - terrific restaurant choice! It was great fun to finally get to meet you. Wish we could have spent more time gabbing, but I'm sure there will be more opportunities in the future to get together. Ciao! Jane

Hi Plum. Decided to sneak over to your page to tell you it was me who posted the kenken site. I'm glad you're enjoying it. If I posted this on Easy then it would be known that I am another of the many lurkers. Reading & not writing leaves me more time for other things which I enjoy more. I think the novelty of Sudokuland just finally wore out for me & many others. But I still check in to look for personal activities & updates now & then. I generally skip over all the riddles, jokes, race to 22, birthday wishes (I think those belong on Personal Pages), & other ho-hum stuff which no longer interest me. Glad you all had a good time at JaneJam. Enjoy the beautiful fall in Michigan.

Well, Plum, you sound a lot cheerier than you have been. It's amazing how being positive makes us feel better! I haven't been unwell, but just always seem to be tired - I guess I am doing more now and working harder than I ever have! Thyere rarely seems to be me time - need to address that. Musn't winge - it is a lovely day here, my holidays are almost over and I'll love being back at school. I'm off to buy a new dishwasher today - ours has been broken for months and I've given up waiting for the repair man to come back. That will make me smile!!! Have a lovely day - hug someone you love.

Hi Plum

I read, with interest, your comment today about girls (and women) choosing / wanting the beautiful role in plays etc - wanting the (I suppose) confirmation that they are themselves beautiful. What do you make of my choice of "character"?

Plum, I want one of those too! Don't youo just hate the kitchen mess!!! I've made a really big mistake with the one I've purchased - my dishes don't fit in it properly, all the glasses overbalance, it takes forever to work and by the time you get stuff clean enough to put it in to it, you may as well have washed up! it is the same brand as my old one that I am seriously thinking of getting out of the shed and getting it fixed! Can you get a refund if something is hopeless??? Having said all that, it is a beautiful day here, and I'll do a Scarlett from Gone With the Wind and deal with it all tomorrow!!!
From your posts you are sounding much more cheerful - how is your health?
