Thanks Cynthia for the welcome and Christmas wishes,

May you and your family enjoy a joyful Christmas with the traditional gifts of love, peace and hope

I always do lemon cordial for Christmas pressies. Love that home-made feel. I used to have a lemon tree in Victoria but up here we have a lime. I'm actually going to make another couple of batches today and maybe mix some lemon and lime.... so here's yours
LEMON CORDIAL
Ingredients:
Juice of 7 large lemons
Grated rind of 5 large lemons
1 kg sugar
1.5 litres of water
25g citric acid
Method:
1.In a large pan, boil up sugar, water, grated peel and citric acid.
2.Take off the heat and add juice, If preferred, this may be strained.
3.Bottle whilst still hot into clean, sterilised (in oven ) bottles

Enjoy with my blessings!! fi

Now that sent shivers down my spine. Bagpipes have always done that to me. Maybe there is some Celtic blood mixed up in me somewhere in my heritage.

Hi Cynthia! Enjoyed your You Tube! One might think you have some Scot blood in you! As to your Sudoku board, are there numbers to match the colors? I'd like to try playing it! Cheers, and

Awww, thank you thinking about me... our home is 200m above sea level and quite safe from floods, but we do get trapped home when water levels rise enough. Unfortunately all the local towns and villages experienced some flooding and quite a lot of low-lying properties were badly affected. Do you experience floods where you live?

That's good - I've been to Redlands, but that was about 27 years ago (I was 21 and just finished uni) and I couldn't remember how high / low it was above sea level. We were on a 3 week road trip that took us from Sydney to Brisbane and then inland as far as Cobar in NSW. We "did" as many national parks as we could in that time.

Hi, CynB! It seems we may have some things in common. If the B is your last initial, we share that. I also have 2 grown children. We only have one grandchild so far. Her name is Madeline, and we call her Maddie, but she's about 5 years behind your Maddie. to Maddie! I hope she has a yummy cake and a very special day!

I'm glad you enjoyed my photos. As for the mohawk, the most interesting part is what he does when he goes to bed. All the gel has to be washed out and in the morning it tends to flop to one side!

Cynthia, I enjoyed your youtube. Put a smile to my lips thinking of Steve Irwin. I'll miss him, I enjoyed watching his Crocodile Diaries. I am sad for his wife and daughter, having to live without him.

Ahh CynB - but of course it is...DUH!!!
It is so embarrassing when your fingers strike out and your brain is not engaged.....blame it on the bubbles that we had last night. Became a bit of a teetotaler towards the end of last year and it prob. doesn't take much to set me off..
Hmm..wonder how many people I've confused today?
Hope Sharlene realised that my message was for her - praps I should post a public apology???
Had a discussion with my 17yo son last night about how big a problem we have with this dyslexic key board... the first and last letters in words are usually correct but the rest are in a most bizarre order. [he assures me that the keyboard behaves when he is using it]. Anyway it appears to me that maybe the same thing is starting to happen with peoples names!!!
Just had a thought.. started writing this post 1hr ago - think I might have something here.... no, I'm not slow, just so many interruptions and lenghty phone calls - maybe that is why I lose track of what I am saying???
