One of my better attempts posing with a statue.  All I can say is that it's lucky for anybody seeing it that there's no audio.

Youtube- Julian Bream and John Williams playing my favorite piece of music, Claire de Lune, by Debussy.

It's hard to tell which one was worse, his playing or my voice.

Weigh in report for week 32, I lost two pounds this week. The first half I was very bad, and the last half I was very good. Hope I've started a new trend.

Weigh in report for week 33, I've had relatives visiting, completely let myself go, didn't restrict my eating, drank all the beer I wanted, and gained 4 pounds. Apparently, andré, the first half is way more fun.

Hey Keith, thought it was high time to visit your page again. I have confidence that you will achieve your goals. Hold on to your seat, I have a bunch to say. Remember that calories count...no matter where you get them from. Beer and soda are empty calories, no nutrition. Celery on the other hand, has less calories in a stalk than you burn chewing it. It's also very boring, but it might be worth it to help you feel full.

Maybe you should think about drinking bloody mary's instead. They fill you up fast, contain a full serving of veggies, and have less calories (in an old fashion tub. I'm talking about the glass at the bar, not that relic in your gramma's bathroom) than a lite beer. If you chomp on the celery stick while you are sipping it....I don't know. I've been racking my brain on ways to help you. Like you've said since the beginning, you are a person who has to do things 100 percent. You can't cut food out of your life, so we have to find a way to work it out. Did you stop by that web site I told you about?

Take Care, I Care and I'll talk to you soon.

Just popped in to see the photograph of you all. It is a lovely piccy. I am hoping to meet up with Ian and his wife from Sydney sometime soon. Our schedules seem to be clashing at the moment but hopefully we will fit a meet in.
The weight loss is terrible isn't it such a battle at times but think how much you have lost already and that is good. I just keep yearning for the wrong stuff.. its just so yummy!!! Keep going though you are doing well x

Hi Keith! That's a great picture of you three. You do ALL look very relaxed & happy. It looks like a very nice Mexican restaurant, too. So which did you drink - margaritas or Dos Equis? Thanks for your note on Easy about Judy. I've been wondering if she was going back to the cabin. Think I must have said or done something to offend her. She never writes to me anymore [tears U.S Open coming up soon. Would be nice if we could have an American do well for a change. I'd love to see James Blake win a big one!!!

Hi Keith, thanks for posting the pic of the three of us. I certainly did not want to leave Lynne out. And, thank you for the compliment, I felt the same way and look forward to you meeting Linda. I had made myself a note to bring back some "chocolate big ben cake for André", then I forgot to ask about it. I even had made myself a note.

Keith - thanks so much for editing and posting Part 2 of the Mairzy Doats saga! I was going to dinner and didn't want to leave anyone hanging for "the rest of the story", which is why I asked you to post it for me. I really appreciate it, and I'll have to make sure I double-check my "copy and paste" documents in the future. I don't want to get tangled in the "swear web" again!

Hi, again! I was just reading the previous posts and thought I'd share something with you. My brother, who had been overweight all his life, started a diet about a year ago and has lost about 80 pounds. He went on the Slim Fast diet. Had the Slim Fast "milkshakes" for breakfast and lunch and a normal dinner at night. Now that his stomach has shrunk, he no longer bothers with the Slim Fast at lunch, so he's basically down to two meals a day (Slim Fast for breakfast and a regular dinner at night). He says he's never felt better in his life, and he looks terrific! Of course, he had pretty good motivation: he had developed a heart condition. But now his blood pressure is normal, and his cholesterol counts are excellent. Good luck!

Weigh in report for week 34, I lost one pound. I think I'm being a little bit better about controlling what goes into my mouth, but wasn't very consistent this week about the exercise thing.

Seriously, congrats on the loss of a pound. Keep it up. (Or down....or whatever!)

Hey Keith,

I was in Minneapolis/St. Paul one year when they did Charlie Browns around town that had been decorated by sponsers and then were auctioned off.
It was GREAT ! Heard they had done Snoopys an earlier year. My favorite CB was one decorated like a summer tourist and he was sunburned but had white marks where he'd worn sunglasses.

Hi Keith, Enjoyed the picture of you, Lynne & Dave. The resturant looks like a good one. Hope you all enjoyed your meeting.
I am back, have added some pictures of St Louis Arch. We had fun going but good to be back.
Love your tee shirt with the wolves, hubby has over 20 with wolves.
Keep working on the weight, I know how hard it is but will be worth it in the end.

Enjoy blue grass as well - but haven't heard of them. Earlier this year we had Alison Krause & the Union Station here. They are very good - secon time I've seen them here.

Have albums of Segovia, Bream & Frisk.

Keith, I have enjoyed Julian Bream's music since college. My friends introduced me to Segovia's music, even went to his concert. But I had found Bream on my own in the music section of the library. My piano teacher introduced me to Villas-Lobos which I enjoyed playing. Thank you for both!

Weigh in report for week 35: I lost 2 pounds. Maybe I've gotten myself going in the right direction again. I'm still not back to the consistent exercise routine and strict diet that I was able to do Jan. through March, but getting closer.

Next order of business is to get the bathtub de-populated and filled with ice to start cooling down all the beer and wine that will be arriving.
I'll designate a place behind the sofa as a safe haven for parking boas and tiaras.

Boy, it's nice to be back in California again. Haven't been here since we crashed Keith's pad for the 4th of July parade. And this place is really cool - especially since Jeb dumped his ice all over the floor on the way to the bathtub. Oh well, I'll just help myself to some of THE "private stock" California wine I found hidden in Keith's closet. PARTY HEARTY EVERYONE!

Behind the SOFA, André! Didn't you see the sign Jeb posted out front???? But frankly, I don't know why anyone who goes to the trouble to actually acquire a tiara would choose not to WEAR said tiara. Myself, I'm more the basic black and pearls type. MUCH more dignified don't you know. Buuuuuuurp! (Good wine, Keithers!)

Ok, I'm back briefly. Just returned from my tennis league's monthly "First Friday" social gathering, and I managed to swipe some yummy Buffalo wings which I'm adding to the buffet table. I'm going to try on André's tiara. Do you think it goes with my T shirt and shorts? Hmmmmm.... Maybe if I wrap the boa 'round my shoulders.......

HI, I smelled the chocolate and followed the noise, PARTY TIME! Jane, tiara's go with anything, love, so you look smashing in your shorts and shirt and tiara! Just try to keep the chocolate finger prints off the diamonds, would ya?

There were a few boiled shrimp left from dinner, and cake , so adding that to the buffet table.
Hubby would not let me out the door with the beer, said he was not finished with it.

JUDY, you do not want to be sent to the naughty corner this early in the party do you?? Behave yourself now. . . well TRY at least.

HI STELLA, you start at the top darling, and work your way down!

KEITH, Bon Voyage, and hope you have a wonderful time!
