Keith, I thought sure you had seen Rob's hat when we were in San Francisco. He definitely took it with us on that trip to SE Asia because everywhere we went the kids all loved it & wanted to look at the pins. But maybe he just didn't wear it while we were touring around SF & at the sudoku meet-up? Now I'm going to have to go check out our pics on Flickr!

Keith I have one raised bed for vegetables, but the cats love to sleep in it. Feral cats are common in my backyard, as well as opossum, raccoon etc. We have a stream on the other side of our back fence. It's usually dry, but no this year.

I have several packages of cheap wooden chopsticks left over from when we were on the road a lot. I'll try those.

Hi, Keith! The only thing I can recommend (and I definitely do) is the Biltmore Estate since that's about all I saw when I was in the Asheville area with friends many years ago. Asheville is one city I had every intention of revisiting but have never gotten around to it!

Keith - the photo of the sheep on the kid's pages is one of mine and if I remember rightly, the area was a bitumen carpark.

Like your youtube which I showed to Scott - he got these bucky balls for his birthday and has played and played and played with them - you can't lose them, there are millions of combinations of possibilities, and they don't make a noise! Highly recommend this as a gift to a ten year old or older! (Do I get commission on a second one now?)

Regarding your question about 'a recipe for sushi'.
'Sushi' is not just one thing. Books have been written on the subject. However I am thinking of how to write one page to explain how to assemble the main kinds of sushi.
Meanwhile there is a picture in My Gallery (#1 in row 11), which shows and describes the most common types of sushi items.
In England one has to adapt sushi to available ingredients there, and they will not be the same as those available elsewhere. We cannot easily obtain the Pacific sea-food that is found near Japan.

Thanks for encouraging me to keep on "not smoking". It has been very difficult, but I am determined - I smoked for almost 40 years. I know that I will not be able to have even one EVER.
