Hi
I have not been a member for long and was just reading thru your comment about the place names.
Lately we have had a few people on here who have not put where they are from.
I mean, a place called Hey Hey ??
Difficult for me to welcome people who do not give me some idea where they live.
Have a great day

Hi Kate, I thank you for the post on my page, and you are right, it was ignored, which surprised me a bit (not a lot!) I posted in response to Gregs comments yesterday, today, see what you think!

Hi Kate. Thank you for stopping into my page, and it is GREAT to see you posting again. I assume you know that I'm not happy with what has happened on the site over the last year, but I persist (like Don Quixote) in charging windmills, to no avail. Hope all is well in your little slice of the world.

Hi TRee Sheila,
Thnaks for your kind appreciation of the items on my Page. I am quite quick at the presentation nowadays after much practice. I've recently finished three scripts [(1) 60x poems; (ii) 100x photos with narratives; and (iii) 40x designs (art-work)]. I have timed all the editing and each one of those volumes has well exceeded 2000 hours work. The designs were the most time consuming, perhaps the poems are the most creative, but maybe the best volume to look at is the photos !

Kate! I saw you post today and went to your page to meet you. I have to tell you I had the most wonderful time in your gallery. I loved the Tawny Frogmouth, Curlew and Kookaburra. You are a great photographer!
I wrote a comment on the picture of the front of your home where I mistakenly called you "Sheila" - I know, top-sider goof...I just didn't put it together until after I had posted.
Anyway, nice to meet you, Kate. My husband and I hope to visit Australia in the not-too-distant future. We have a big building project at home to finish first.
Blessings to you!

Tree Sheila..... OMG I LOVE YOU!!
abebooks.com was the most fantastic site. Only had to search through 68 books.

Whispered Kisses by Janelle Taylor

Probably smuttier than I remember, but I can't remember the end (I'm sure they end up together)

Hello Kate (aka Tree Sheila) I know that August 27 was a sad day for you. I hope you got through it okay & maybe were able to spend some time with your family and/or friends. How is Liz doing with her cochlear implant? And how old is darling little Jemma now? I still remember you & miss the "good old days" of Sudokuland. Nowadays I have gone back to mostly lurking instead of trying to keep up with so many new people & new forums, pages, etc. But I'm still around & doing my best to stay in touch with the many new friends I have made here. Take care & stay well.

Kate, just popped over to congratulate you on the magnificent Erskine River, Otway Ranges photo on easy jigsaw today.
Very evocative, as someone commented, 'you can almost hear the water'.

Sheila, so good to hear from you! Milo is a cute grandbaby -- the best kind, I believe. I'm sorry to hear about the tragic way in which you lost your sweet old dog. That must have been just awful for you.
I had a dog live to 17 and one to 16, but both Beau and Patches, of whom I took much better care -- had more money, time and responsibility by then -- were gone in their 13th years.
To me, love is worth the price but it surely is hard to let go. Give Milo a tummy rub from me next time you have him.
Thanks, again, for coming by!

Hi there kate,
Hey thanks for visiting my page and commenting on the pictures. Sorry it took so long to get back to you. I have different paces in my life and if I am rushing at the time (eg travelling) my time on here is minimal). I rarely read comments these days... except if the picture is of interest. Part of that is my choice to spend less time on line and part is the changing of the guard. I miss the charactors and days of old and the fun and cheek that used to flow. Re photography, I'm very much an amature but in my lifestyle am thrown into many different places and photos are a great way to share.

Hi Tree Sheila - nice to meet you. You asked about my dress in the photo. There is a bit of a story about that. I was engaged at 19 and decided that it was a mistake and called it off but not before I had put the dress on lay-by. So when I went to the shop they said that I couldn't get a refund but they could change the fabric so I chose the blue and they made that dress. I kept it for many years but only wore it that one night for my 21st as I recall. I certainly don't have it now. I do still have my wedding dress that I wore to my real wedding!

By the way, how's Deniliquin?. pretty dry?? It was some years ago when I was in my 20s that my parents lived in Echuca for 10 years ... and my sister inlaws parents were for a time in Deni too. Does that make us nearly neighbours??? :)

Hi Kate, we are back from our travels and I had a look at the photo. Impressive isn't it?
I walked face-first into the web of a Bird-Eating spider one night on Norfolk Island many years ago while making my way back to the Guest House from the pub. Fortunately, the spider was drunk - but the walker was suddenly sober.

Lovely pictures, Kate! I know this is a day of mixed feelings for you, but I am sure you have many happy memories. Jaime and I will celebrate our 40th anniversary this June. It seems like only yesterday that we were married. Sigh!

I really enjoyed the latest beautiful additions to your gallery. How difficult anniversary's are after the loss of your partner. I hope you have enjoyed sharing them with your sudoku family.

I don't know if I've told you before but your photo's of Deni mean so much to me ...I have so few photo's of what was my home town...didn't ever think of the day when we no longer had links in Deni or reason to travel there. Thank you.

Hey Kate, don't sweat it mate. The reason you didn't know about Mum is because you have a life!
Thank you for your kind words. I would feel honoured and proud if I were to resemble my mother in any way, in looks or personality. I always thought of her as an elegant woman.
We miss her terribly but she left us with many lasting memories and life lessons. She will always be with us.
